Really cute ice cream shop with a cool concept. You get to see your ice cream being made into a frozen taco :)This place has quite a few unique flavors. We got 2 taco ice cream:1. Genmaicha + dark chocolate coating2. Banana + peanut butter coatingBoth were pretty good, however the coating on both tacos were a bit overwhelming and covered up the taste of the actual ice cream flavors.
Pretty rare flavors to choose from! Good quality ice cream and a unique taco concept. My favorites were the Pistachio Rose and the Banana Creme, but their menu is constantly changing. They always have new flavors. There's also vegan options, like Mango Sticky Rice!
Tacos made of cryogenic dipped ice cream! they have about 10 popular ones or you can custom make you filling/toppings. great place to eat a treat during a cold day.
I’d never heard of this spot before browsing google maps for a treat. Really nice little store with a unique selection of ice creams. We tried the a taco: vegan fudge ice cream with milk chocolate and house made oreo topping. The oreo is all chocolate, nothing white (made me wonder if I even know the definition of oreo), and 50 cents. Altogether, it was $6.25, which is Bay Area consistent but not the worst price for the experience. The taco also did not melt at all during my 20 minute drive to my partner’s and we got to enjoy a very fun ice cream treat. Will return!
We tried this ice cream several times at university events. I think, the selection was a bit different compared to the official menu, but the look and feel was similar. Most of the ice cream types comprise a taco-shaped waffle that has icecream of your choice inside and a chocolate cover of your choice over the icecream part. The whole thing is wrapped in a paper. This time, we tried strawberry with white chocolate and salted caramel with dark chocolate, both were good. The ice creams are hand-made, I guess even the waffles. The different tastes are tasty, however I would not say that they are something extraordinary or unique. The size is not very big, it is just enough.Overall, I would definitely recommend to try this icecream, it is a pleasure to eat it. I especially like that there is almost no waste in this product - no plastic or stick.
Love this place, a modern twist on a classic dessert you’d find from your ice cream man as a kid. Rotating ice cream selection and they also serve more than ice cream though! Great coffee and toast options sometimes.
EASILY THE BEST ICE CREAM PLACE IN THE BAY! Their unique take on ice creams will leave you not just enjoying the way they make the taco live in front of you but also the actual final product. They have a whole host of combinations you can choose from, and also offer doggy treats. They also offer gluten free options, which one of my friends appreciates about this place. 100% need to go here and try their ice cream!
Amazing made to order ice cream tacos. Imagine a hipster Chocotaco. Also they have bon bons for dogs (banana and carob) that are very cheap for your four legged friends.Often a line full of local college students, but worth the wait.
You can definitely taste the high quality of the ice cream and it is super fun to eat in a taco! My go-to is the mini taco with dark chocolate dip and honeycomb topping with a new flavor of ice cream. I think the story of how the shop opened is really great too, so I love supporting this business! I wish I lived closer to come more often but it certainly is worth going out of the way for!
We came here at 3:35pm on Sunday there was only 2 workers. There were 2 customers in front of us to order and what we thought was going to take 5-10 mins ended up taking 35 minutes of waiting in line! After placing our order we then had to wait for another 25 minutes! for 2 single scoop and a regular taco ice cream ($6). All the wait to be given a tiny taco ice cream ($5.25)Although they tasted good I was not given what I paid for and I had noticed once I came home. The longest I have waited in line for ice cream during WINTER season only having 2 customers in front of me with small orders as well
