Loved this place. We went to celebrate my husband birthday and enjoyed it a lot. Superb service. Amazing food ? and what a killing ambience

Visited the place on a Wednesday evening. We didn't have a reservation, so the wait for a table was for 20-25 mins. The staff was courteous. The chips and salsa are a must have here.Mango margarita was ?We tried the fish, shrimp and chicken tacos. And all were ???.Also tried the shrimp plate. The grilled shrimp was seasoned well. The accompanying guac was the bomb.?Must try the seafood here !!!

The perfect place for the party/occasion. Almost every food item on the menu that we ordered was super delicious. Filet Mignon tacos are the best ones I had so far. Mango margharita is worth a try if you haven’t already. Tres leches was the perfect ending to a delicious night. Do check out this place.

Potentially racially motivated negligence, subpar food:I ordered takeout at the hosts’ front desk and tipped generously despite it being takeout as I felt the attendant Sofia had been cordial at first.I was told it would be a 5-10 minute wait as I’d just gotten 3 tacos. I waited 20 minutes in view of the front desk, but didn’t get any text notifications or have anyone call out my name. All the while, around 3-4 hosts/attendants were gossiping and laughing around at the desk without doing any work. Nothing wrong with that, I figured. After 20 minutes, I’d gotten tired of waiting and asked if my order was ready yet. Sofia told me it was and she’d “forgot” to tell me. What’s the point of entering my phone number explicitly if I don’t get a text then or have anyone tell me?Not only had I tipped in good faith for a takeout order, I didn’t see til after the matter that Puesto takes a 4% service fee. What service did I pay for? For an abundance of employees having fun to conveniently “forget” about my order? They would’ve kept me there for an hour sitting in the lobby if I didn’t bring it up.I’m writing this not from a point of privilege, but rather as a working college student paying my way through school.Never coming to Puesto on a lunch break again and I’m sure that’ll be the consensus amongst students in my circles after this poor experience.Tacos were supposed to be pollo, camaron, and Al pastor but they did a sweet/Hawaiian twist on it which is fine, but the sauce drowns the camaron and the flavors clash hard. Imagine paying $9 per taco, they’re just regular sized, basically a street taco with a few more toppings

This place is so, so good. My Latin husband doesn’t like “fancy” Mexican restaurants but he loves this spot. I really miss the Molcajete and I really hope they’ll put it back on the menu someday. But for now tacos it is. I love that they put the zucchini flower on top and fry up the cheese. And don’t get me started on the margaritas. The coconut one is a dream. It makes me feel like I’m on a vacation. Oh- and the chiccharones are freshly made. They come out still popping from being freshly fried in the back! It’s delicious.

Really enjoyed the broad assortment of taco fillings. Meat and veggie options, good chips and salsa and great cocktails and beer.

Food is good, not enough to say amazing to be honest. And service was just ok. Considering food and service I think I could say is expensive cause for that price they could improve both. They are just trying to offer gourmet tacos... good try, that's it.

Love that place, cool music, cool service staff, excellent food and tequila. We had a reservation for approx. 20+ which was easy to make, a warm welcome was the first thing we experienced. Check out the very tasty taccos, wow, so great. Any time, we will be in the bay area again, we will be at that place.

Yikes. So expensive for such bad food. The margarita was tasty and I really liked the esquite. The tacos were pretty much twice the price of any other I’ve ever had, the same size, and distinctly worse. The carnitas was bland and the fish taco contained some good fish but too many toppings that overpowered it. On balance not a pleasant bite. But it was the ceviche that stood out for being astonishingly, overpoweringly acidic and sour, to the point of being inedible.A real disappointment.

This place is great for parties though it's a bit expensive. Expansive bright interiors, modern ambience, and great food. The only thing that could be improved is the variety in the menu.
