If you want to experience the hustle bustle in the kitchen and smell the wok hei while you eat this is the place to go. We went here for lunch. We had the immediate impression about how popular this place was as there was a line to get in. We put our name on the sign up sheet and waited for about 5 to 7 minutes before we were called up for our turn. This place has a limited menu. Our order consisted of:Gochu jjamppong: This is marked as spicy. However if you manage to evade the jalapeños you should be good. The broth itself was flavorful and delicious. One thing to note though is there are a generous amount of mussels and meagre amount of shrimps and squid to honor the seafood part. The noodles were good and they do give you a pair of scissors for easy of dining which is very thoughtful. Hardly any place does that.Jaengban Jajang: This entree consisted of both shrimp and pork. We made a special request to not make it with pork and the staff obliged immediately. It had great wok flavor and the stir fried shrimp tasted good. The taste of the noodles did not sit well with us. It was too sweet and sticky for our taste. That does not mean you should refrain from ordering it if it does suit your taste.Chili Saeu: This tated good for the first couple of bites but as we worked through it we figured it had a rather thicker coating. The chili sauce is a bit on the sweeter side as well.Ambience: Although this is a small establishment compared to other places we've been it is well organized and kept clean. There's no fuss about seat selection. You can select a booth or a table irrespective of party size.Quantity: GoodParking: LimitedTimes visited: 1

Recommended by a korean friend and seeing a line outside + pictures of the food lift a hope for good food to be waiting for me.The only acceptable dish were the dark noodle for 2 people. It was ok. It missed lots of flavor. As many reviews stated - it has no spiciness and we miss the flavor. The recommended pork dish is an absolute joke and I have no idea how this became a recommended dish. The spicy shrimp was also mediocre. We left disappointed and wouldn’t come back next time

Pretty good food, but expect at least a 20-minute wait! Very comforting Korean noodle and rice dishes. Servers are super friendly and service is quick. Will definitely be coming back to try out more of their menu!

After watching actors and actresses eating their food from many Korean series and movies, I decided to look for a place to fulfill my desire and hunger. This is the place I was looking for. It was delightful and tasty. The noodles were excellent. You don't have to wait for long. The food came fast, and the waiters were friendly. I will definitely come back again after I am done watching the next k-drama.☺️ You will not be disappointed if you're a spicy lover like me.?

Great tasting food with quick service as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that likes good food. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the music is tad bit to loud and restaurant itself is kind of hot. Not sure if the air-conditioning was having issue's. Other than that, I really liked this place.

One of the BEST Korean restaurant in the Bay! ? I love how their menu selection is small but everything is their specialty. The foods were soft, flavorful and not at all oily. I would definitely go back again and maybe try out the spicy ones ?

Quick served hot food I enjoyed their noodles! It’s chewy and warm. Especially Jampong is so flavorful and fresh. Fried dumpling also good. It is filled with pork and chives. Jajang myeon..umm for me it was okay but my husband said it’s too blended. If they made sauce a little thick, it would be better :) service was okay. When you pay they just give you the machine. It was a little embarrassed though.

The 탕수육 there is my favorite. It's fried just right and slightly chewy, and not overly oily like most places are. Definitely a solid staple alongside some noodles, which are also solid.

Excellent black bean noodle (jjajangmyeon). Kind of a hard dish to mess up, but it was executed perfectly and served pretty efficiently.Service was a bit lacking today though. Felt kind of rushed to finish my large bowl. I guess my server assumed I was done when I had quite a bit left, but just went with her vibe and got a take out to enjoy at home. There are a lot of people (especially teenagers) on a Friday evening, with a line out the door, so I could understand except I wasn't dining during that rush. Anywho! I enjoyed my meal here, and it was a value at that price point ($12.99 for large?)It's a nice place to wind down while doing laundry next door. I'll return! I just hope I won't feel rushed next time.

The jjajang used to be very solid, but today the sauce was watered down and lacked flavor. The shrimp was super good though. Overall disappointed
