Staff wore masks whichever is always appreciated. Like how they have customers wait outside and call them when their meal is ready for pick up.Ridiculously expensive for the average quality that didn’t match the price. Nigiri combo came with items I would never eat like octopus. Wish they’d tell people what is included so they can decide if a combo is the way to go or if ordering separate pieces is better.Combo came with miso soup and a side salad. Over $35 for lunch with no drink.
Oh me gggggg …. Such excellent sushi!!! I love love love this restaurant and so much, my family has coined “Sushi Sunday” which means ordering takeout (in a Covid world) from Omee J.J does an excellent job in customizing rolls to accommodate allergies and puts a magical and beautiful touch on each roll. Some of our favorites are:- 4 season roll- all the Meyer nigiris- 49er- my husband- big daddy- yuzu wasabi nigiri (warning… wasabi will steam out of your nostrils)- spider roll- rainbow roll- cherry blossom- cilantro saladEverything is consistently fresh! And their bento boxes are delicious too… just doesn’t have an alliteration to go with “Sushi Sunday”… :)
First time going here. Absolutely wonderful. Had a bentonite box with tonkatsu and tempura. Loved the tempura, Panko (?) Batter, it was yummy.
This is my wife's favorite sushi place and for good reason. They have a huge selection of specialty rolls that are all good, and plenty of other options (I personally get a bento box). The ambience is intimate and the service is good as well.
This is the best sushi place I've been to in San Jose! I've been a couple times now. The service is fast, professional, and friendly. The food is amazing. I love their miso soup in particular, it's so good and the onion adds such a depth of flavor. The fish is fresh and the rolls are presented well. Great for a date night!
Worst ever.. I've ordered sashimi salad that's $35 and tipped $5. I couldn't believe, when I was home hoping to enjoy a good meal.. I've ended up with left over scraps of fish.. Service is good, but food quality is garbage.. Tried calling multiple times, but they.. Don't ever go there, unless you enjoy lowest quality of experience. Worst, ever. There are a few good Japanese in Southbay, this is not one of them.
Excellent sushi options including traditional and fusion rolls. Menu has great pictures of all their rolls. I had nabeyaki udon too and it was excellent. Having lived in Japan, their food is great and authentic. Service was great.
Really friendly, lovely presentation, unique roll selection, very pleased with my experience ?
I absolutely love this place. The food is great and fresh I have been coming to this place before Covid and tried the take out option during as it was not the same. Now that it has opened up again we are so excited.
Good presentation, and tasty rolls in general. But tbh everything was a California roll or dynamite roll of sorts, which is fine if you're into that stuff but not super original which was a bit disappointing. The rice was a bit heavy on some, while proportions on others more reasonable. Enjoyed the naruto and gunkan rolls though, those were great!
