I’ve been here multiple times and I think they have one of the best ramen in south bay. food is always fresh and quality is consistent.
Excellent ramen! ? I just finished the pork kuro ramen, and I could not wait to write this review. The soup also comes with spinach, green onion, mushroom, and nori to pack on the umami. It’s very flavorful. This is my favorite ramen I’ve tried in the area.
Okay food. Okay service. Nice atmosphere. The Kuro Ramen was bland even with the strong broth, I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for something flavorful. Atmosphere was clean. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here and I don't have a huge desire to come back.
this place is GOATED. I feel like it's so good that it should be packed all the time but surprisingly it's pretty empty when I usually go in. I recommend the Kuro broth, super rich and creamy but not too salty. amazing place 10/10.
I am so glad that restaurants are opening back up for indoor seating, because I miss the ambiance of this place!I had the Shiro and my girlfriend ordered the Kuro Kotetsu. Both left full and happy! Thanks at all!
Try the kuro tonkotsu broth if you’re looking for a smooth, smoky and creamy texture—but not too rich or salty; and take a break from all the miso based broths out there.Geso karaage (fried squid tentacles) are a great appetiser pairing with a cold beer.
Delicious and great service every time. The brothless Tantanmen is next level.
I like the ramen here. The soup tasted very well and the egg was cooked exactly what I needed. See photos. They are not very busy during weekdays so just walking in.
Tastyyyyyy best char siu ever!
A quiet little hole in the wall spot that I've been meaning to try for a long time. Kotetsu is a spot that should be packed but was deceptively empty when we came in. They were super kid-friendly with training chopsticks and plastic bowls, that counts for a lot when eating with kids. The ramen noodles were choice and chewy! Exactly how they should be. I was disappointed in the variety of broths, and the shoyu while simple was actually perfect. The stewed pork was also expertly done, and the soft boiled eggs were (and I mean this) the perfect type of creamy. I'll definitely be coming back here, and good ramen is hard to find; don't take it for granted.
