This place is highly unsanitary! I saw that they reuse the ginger off a customer's finished plate after the customer left. They put the used ginger back in the bin with all the other gingers. That is disgusting and not right!! As for the sushi, well..it's of mediocre standard. All of the rolls are stuffed with crab salad, a tell-tale sign. I mean some people like their crab salad. I'm just saying if you're looking for high quality, look elsewhere. Anyway, I lost my appetite after I saw that and left immediately.
So....we had shrimp tempura, shrimp roll, prawns and prosciutto , miso soup and salad, hot Saki, and love the traditional atmosphere of Japan w/the service of 5stars. I'll be back

This place is a hidden gem. You cannot beat the ambiance of the indoor koi pond and waterfall, Japanese decor, and sushi boats on water. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. Their tempura is the best I have ever had at Japanese restaurants and I love their teriyaki chicken. The sushi we ordered was also very good.I have been coming here for many years and have tried all kinds of Japanese restaurants in the Bay Area and this one is by far my favorite.
Average of japanese food. Dishes adapted to local test. Sashimi was not fresh. Enter this restaurant if you rolls lover.
I had the chicken with tempura. The sauce on the chicken was sweet. Basically this thing was sugar sauce plus fried vegetables. In that regard it was like paying $24 for fried food and soda at Wendy’s or McDonald’s.
Been coming to this place for quite a few years and they never let me down. The food is delicious, and their sushi bar has a great selection.
This place is very disappointed. The soft crab was very over cooked, and that was not what I expected at all. The pork ramen tastes worst than instant noodle and the pork in the noodle was hard and it had a weird taste and smell. The unagi donburi is soso, but I guess you could’ve get a better taste and portion by buying a frozen unagi and heating it up yourself.
Love going here! The koi pond is very serene with a small waterfall. You can watch the fish while you eat. The sushi is always so fresh and amazing. We love their teriyaki salmon and teriyaki chicken as well. It comes with a wonderful side salad and miss soup. This place is a treasure!
Randomly stopped in for lunch and picked up some Katsu Donburi. The restaurant was beautiful looking and most impressive I've seen this far south of San Francisco. We haven't eaten at a restaurant yet since the lock down, but this will be the first place I take my wife. The food was good, different than the Katsudon I've had before, had peppers and veggies in it. Good experience overall.
