best kbbq in the bay area. must try the kimchi-cold noodles!
Best KBBQ I have ever had. Freshest items possible, side dishes are phenomenal! I do not eat Kimchi, but this Kimchi was sooo amazing I ate a bowl by myself! Service was awesome and the establishment is amazing!

We had an excellent dinner there! We went a couple nights ago as a party of 6. Our first time to this restaurant, but had done the cook your own before. Our server, I'm guessing family, was awesome and attentive to our table. We were the first ones there when they opened, but they soon filled up and we still had great service!! Very helpful with info and suggestions. Food was excellent, and those rice balls! We keep saying we're going to try and figure out the recipe lol! We will definitely go there again if ever in that area!

Horrible meat quality.It's either all fat or all meat, but mostly all fat.I've never had beef briskets that came with this much fat in any restaurant or stores.I could not get past 3 pieces because of all the grease.If you enjoy eating straight up fat then this place is great.Otherwise don't bother with this overpriced horrible meat.
premium kbbq. it's pricey but the riceball and soup and meat quality is ??
We came here at 9:40pm on Tuesday. And they said they was closed. But the time on google shows they are open until 11pm. Also the opening time on the wall is showing open until 11pm. We drive 20 minutes to come here. So disappointed.
As a 20 year San Jose resident, I have been a customer of Ilbunji since my college year back in 2006.This place is hands down the best Korean BBQ in the area. The quality of meats are unbelievable to say the least.Even some of very renowned Socal BBQ places did not even come close to this place and often failed to impress me because I was used to the level of meat quality in this place.It's a hidden gem in the area that definitely deserves more praises.If you haven't tried here, you are missing out big time.
Great food. Very authentic korean bbq feel. Pricey though
