Don’t come here please. Me and my 2 other college friends wanted a good late night meal and searched up korean bbq places this was the only place open at 12 AM we slightly looked at the review but didn’t pay much attention and didn’t dig deep in the bad reviews. when we walked in they forced us to each pick an order and said if we didn’t buy 3 order they weren’t gonna serve us we had a good meal and they cooked for us but when it came time to pay they forced us to pay 18% we wanted to tip $20 because to us that was the right amount for there service. They proceeded to point out the fact that our tip was too little even though to us it was a lot considering we’re in college and don’t have a stable job. We honestly found it quite insulting and they then circled the $60 that they wanted us to pay for the tip we found it outrageous because $60 was a whole meal at a restaurant and we were paying the amount for mediocre service. We asked them why we had to tip that amount and they told us the reason hurriedly so all we could hear was that because it was 3 people and since it was 3 meal the tip had to be 18% and they rushed off before we could ask anymore questions. We were confused but forced to pay or else they wouldn’t let us leave. We decided to just pay the $60 and when we gave it to them they practically ripped it out of our hands. We were hurrying to the car afterwards upset by how our fun dinner hangout resulted. I was troubled so I texted my friend about the incident and she told me the exact same thing happened to her. She had a small get together there and it was for 6 people. They told her at the end to tip 18% and she ended up having to tip almost $150 just for the tip. This place is honestly ridiculous.
Completely disappointed with the food and service. I had high hopes for this place. The food tasted like it was microwaved and the service or lack of service was the icing on the cake. I had high hopes for this place. Will not return.
When people are drunk they over charging the bill. We ate like $300 dollars and charge cash $200.When you eating there make sure make note and price.
If you come as a single mom with a kid, they just want to kick you out as soon as possible by a reason like this table was reserved. Even they told us in advance that there was no reservation.
one star is to paise this restaurant, trash restaurant! this Restaurants and this server with extremely bad manners! When they serve it, they put it on the carton Box not table？when we ask they to serve, they just ask us to leave, ridiculous!
We've been going to Gooyi Gooyi for years now. The meat quality is so high! We recommend the combo #4 or combo #5! They all come with a wide selection of different cuts of meat with some soju or beer too. I highly recommend calling ahead to reserve seating though. It can get very busy sometimes and the parking situation is rough. You're going to have to park on the street and walk over sometimes. However, if you want high quality kbbq, this is the place to go!

Don't bother come and wait at the door. They pretend not to see you or hear you even if you're "yelling" at them (politely)trying to get their attention. They put a paper for waitlist where you put down your name and phone number. However if you are THREE steps away They pretend you are not here and cross out your name from the list!!!! Terrible service!!
Nice Korean bbq restaurants, they will cook for you and you just need to relax and enjoy the meal without worrying overcooked or undercooked.Parking is hard to find in this plaza, try to park in the neighborhood...
Extremely rude service. Wrote down my name and number on the waitlist and looked for parking, when I came back my name was crossed. They never called. The owner talked really rude. Hard to find parking spaces.
