This was my first time eating here. I ordered a breast and wing, broccoli, and a side salad. The chicken was old and dry it was not edible. The broccoli was old and dry, and the side salad. The lettuce was brown. That entire meal went into the trash. If I could give zero stars I would. It’s unfortunate, the actual food they served me doesn’t reflect what they advertise on tv. I will not return

El pollo is loco for sure to be serving some good chicken. Good food service is easy and perfect location for me. Half chicken is perfect for someone hungry like me.

I ordered delivery from this location, thinking they would be more accurate than the Coleman avenue location. I was wrong. I don't know what it is about El Pollo Loco, but they just refuse to pack salad dressing with their salad orders. It's pretty ridiculous. All I want is a salad that isn't completely dry. I called to let them know that they are packing orders wrong, and they seem baffled by this feedback. They kept trying to dispute what's clearly written on my receipt. Paying a premium for delivery but not having people care enough to pack orders with essentials is really annoying, I appreciate essential workers. It would be nice if they at least tried. The "manager" Maricella told me to "calm down" after having to call back and learn that she had all the details of my issue incorrect. I don't know who hires these "managers," but this location and Coleman Ave could benefit from additional screening/training.

Thank you employees at Pollo Loco in Santa Clara for taking care and being so kind to my dad 'Jerry' who was so a customer every couple of days for his "classic burrito" that he enjoyed so much and said was nutritional for him. I saw when he would walk in they would always say hi Jerry, how are you today? Thanks for being so kind to him. Kay
Food is always good and the seasoning is great. The chicken is always moist which is an extra plus since it's not over cooked and dry as leather. My family has even going here for years every now and than and we have never been disappointed
