This chipotle has done away with in-store ordering and requires customers to download their app to order. I tried to order though their app, and after selecting my order the app wouldn’t let me pay. I tried to get help inside, but the staff didn’t seem to care, and just told me to try again on the website.
This is the first time that I actually eat at Chipotle!! Some of my friends love it so I decided to try it out.. It's very good and healthy!! You can combine the ingredients you prefer and the portions are super well served.. I got a "bowl" and, to be honest, there was so much food that I couldn't eat it all!! Definitely going back there in the future..
Consistently rude staff. It’s like they don’t like being at this location either!More importantly, in almost each of my dozens of visits here, they always manage to have at least 1 ingredient that turns out bad. Either the mild salsa is overly spicy, or the steak is nothing but tendon, or the guac is all brown. The quality control is awful.
Don’t order here, trust me. We arrived to see the “online only” sign, maybe labor shortage but no excuse for the bad service. We had to wait 25 minutes for the order, which was unexpected. Worst part is that the employees walk so really slow, just lazy and no sense of customer. This really shows how downhill Chipotle has gone.
It is a popular place that is always crowded during lunch time. It is convenient to pre-order through the app.
Unmotivated personeel. Always out of something. Long waiting due to poor take-out alignment with walk-in customer orders.Open until 10, cleaning starting before 9..Needs a good manager to keep the personel inline and motivated.
Staff was very rude, bathroom was closed to customers because staff was “done” cleaning it for the day. Not even offering directions for an alternative. Is it even legal for a restaurant serving customers to not have any restroom for customers or employees to wash hands?
I have only ordered in person but typically visit at least once a week. Some Chipotle locations in South Bay are known to give smaller servings than normal but you can always ask for more at this location and they will. I can't speak on the mobile ordering reviews but would recommend coming here in person.
This chipotle is the best in the area. It's very consistent with portions and the food is generally high quality. I drive across town to avoid some of the other Chipotles.The staff here are very friendly, one middle aged gentleman there, specifically, is a great employee and whatever you're paying him, pay him more.I give 4 stars because one time the ingredients didn't seem fresh, but I've been there dozens of times and only happened once.Great job Chipotle Santa Clara!
EDIT: just tasted our latest order & it’s almost hilariously bad. Everything stated below except they used a salt shaker full of salt to season the chicken. My kids literally spit it out. Soggy rice as usual and way too much liquid salsa. This is simple food. COME ON!!! I’m so sick of hoping for the best and paying for practically inedible food!Please fix this location. Chipotle has to figure out how to do things well like they used to. The portions make no sense (a sprinkle of meat, 2 cups of mushy salsa, soggy overcooked under seasoned rice, wilted lettuce, soggy stale overly oiled chips- GROSS). Quit adding new things to the menu like chorizo that is rubbery and disgusting and make your original menu well. Your customers will be happy.
