It is our go-to restaurant when we are at Valley Fair. The food quality is very consistent and service is good. You get very good value for your money with their lunch combo specials.

On 2/21/22, we went during a weekday for lunch at 1pm, and we were told it would be a one-hour wait. After waiting for 1 hour, we were seated. It took 15 minutes for someone to take our drink orders. We wanted to go ahead and order our food while ordering our drinks but our waitress walked away while we were talking mid sentence. 15 minutes pass and I had to go up to someone behind the bar/kitchen to ask when we'd get our drinks and our order taken. I waited another 5 minutes and went to the hostess stand to ask why it was taking so long. Right when I was telling the hostess of the horrible experience thus far, the waitress finally comes back and gives us our drinks. It took another 20 minutes to get our order to the table. We were starving and it was almost 3pm by the time we ate something. The food was as expected, no complaints there, but the restaurant was not busy at all. I think waiting 1 hour from getting seated to get our food (35+ minutes to get our order taken) is a bit ridiculous. We all agreed that the food is not worth a return if this is the level of service. My party of 4 was pretty disappointed and we had spent $150+ on our meal.

Overall great experience at California pizza kitchen. We had Mexican street corn which was delicious. And the butter cake was out of this world (though can be very heavy on calories). Took away 1 star as the location had surprisingly dull ambience and service was a bit slow to take our order (our other CPK experiences were better).

It’s good food and drink and waitress is good job

Nice very friendly server, tasty food.

Our server was very attentive and our pizzas: pepperoni and bacon with a regular crust, and marguerita with a cauliflower crust were both incredible! I've never had cauliflower crust before, and I will likely keep ordering all my pizzas that way.

It was my first visit was too happy first our waters had lettuce in it tells me dish washer wasn’t very good then our waitress didn’t come and see if we needed anything I we asked for another water again lettuce in I thought maybe a small discount on our large bill but no we still tipped well. But other then that and not coming around food was good

I love CPK - but the pizza sauce we received at this place with the chipotle chicken pizza (we take it without the chicken) had gone bad. It ruined the pizza for us.

For those like me who have been eating at CPK for years and like CPK, like the variety, the consistency, the taste, and now their addition of substitute meats to the menu. The last one allows vegetarians and vegans to enjoy some of the items they couldn’t earlier.Of late, the wait times have gone up and the courtesy level of the wait staff has gone down a notch or two. But being mindful of the challenges that the restaurant industry is facing in terms of manpower, I will let it slide a bit. I requested for their famous bread as we sat down, but the server totally missed to bring that. Nor did they say that they were out of it.For these reasons, 4 stars, and I am sure I will get the experience that I am used to for years, during my next visit.

While the service and wait staff were very nice, the food quality was very disappointing. Both salmon and the pizza we got were not great. We felt we spent for nothing. The pizza in particular had oil dripping on the top. Never seen that with the pizza.
