We dined for dinner, service is good and warming, food tastes rich in flavor (kebabs) and we’ve been here specifically for Haleem, did reach expectations. However, the only dish i was very disappointed is Garlic naan. It’s very white on top, burnt at the bottom, undercooked and the bread is heavy. It’s a shame that such a huge restraunt served a messy naan. Of course the naan was pulled out from billing though. But i see lack of persistence in people that a single dish speaks about the reputation of restaurant. This messy bread surpassed the grill, skipped from eyes of the sous chef, head-chef and the waiter/waitress to the dining table. None noticed it prior serving to customer. I notice vibrations in my gut and darn hungry, hence pulled of edible parts from break and enjoyed with entree. My bottom line is don’t expect customers to come back with complaints, better make it right in first go, this leads to saving everyone’s crucial time spent in the restaurant and a happy customer with a successful business with splendid feedback & ratings. Sorry, but honestly, This is the only reason i gave 3 stars!
Good food. Friendly staff with a sense of humor, especially the young man from Hyderabad. Clean place. Nice interiors. The only thing is, the staff didn’t wear any mask. While serving the food, they were making pleasant small talk, but after CoVd, my thoughts were, ‘Hopefully his spit doesn’t spray all over my food.’ Other than that, it’s a nice place to have delicious food.
Relatively new restaurant with ample seating for dine in. The preparation for most of the dishes is Hyderbadi. We had the Apollo Fish and the boneless chicken biryani. The taste and the flavors were exceptional. The biryani had the right mix of spices. Recommend to order the medium spicy. The staff is polite, quick and have a sense of humor.
We were on our way to a different restaurant for lunch and happen to see this place on El Camino Real. We decided to try this place immediately. Very friendly staff and decent decors with booth seats. We ordered the mutton potlam biryani, chettinad chicken curry, lemon soda, tandoori roti and Lacha Paratha. All the items were very tasty and delicious. Not too oily and not too salty. Just the right amount. Our waiter was very friendly, casual and made sure that our orders and needs were met in a timely manner. They have weekend buffet that we will definitely visit. The price was also reasonable. Definitely recommend this place for lunch.
Ordered through phone and pickup was ready in 20 mins. Food was hot and fresh. Tasted so good. Flavors are authentic like back home in india.
The staff seem to be very lethargic and not attentive. But that is all still acceptable . The main reason for the 2 star is the lack of hygiene & food standards. The mouth freshener kept at the reception was spoilt with some expired desiccated coconut in it and this instantly made me puke. The men’s toilet was stinking so badly too. These are the basic things which should not go wrong. It is never acceptable to be served with spoilt food. The dishes were ok types and definitely not great. The biryani was lacking flavors and had way too much oil/vanaspati in it and frankly speaking not anywhere close to hyderabadi biryani . I wonder if the people who loved this biryani assuming it to be hyderabadi biryani have ever tasted the authentic one.The expectation is that a newly opened restaurant would try their best to impress customers to build that customer base, but this seems to be lacking here a lot.
I have no idea how many times I have been to this restaurant. I have ordered take out, dined at the restaurant and tried most of the food there. I have no complaints and I can never decide what I want to eat because I crave for every item there.
Food was awesome, as it says Hyderabadi indian cuisine the taste was as same as they mentioned, the restaurant was very clean and tidy too. I have liked their service very much.I recommend trying it once. They will be having buffet on the weekends which was my most favorite????
I ordered the biryani it was the worst biryani i have had in the bay area. Its open late nights do not fall for this place even if its the only place open on doordash or google its better to have chicken wings from 7-11 the food here is pathetic and yes they go by this other name pista house
HORRIBLE RESTAURANT!We ordered a Paneer Biryani but didn't have Paneer in it. We ordered a Boneless Chicken Biryani but had bones. We ordered a Mirchi Bajji and was spicy as hell!!! This restaurant deserves 0 stars. Please shut it down.
