We were very excited to come here after searching vegetarian food in SB and seeing the fun-looking options they offered. SB hadn’t let us down yet and we’re always super excited to try new places whenever we pass through. Anyway, we both got their burritos with tofu and not only was it quite a long wait (without much of a line before us) but sadly they also left out the tofu from both meals. We couldn’t go back to complain so we had to just eat it, since we were famished and paid so much for them. It was essentially just a wrap loaded with rice. The wrap was pretty good but the rice was just rice. Quite a letdown. I’d give it an average rating because im hoping it was just a mistake?

Both my meal and my girlfriend's meal were absolutely delicious fresh greens rice was perfectly cooked tasty chicken nice seasoning not too much. Really love their sandwiches can't wait to go back again.

Always the best spot to hit late night. Great music pretty much every night, food is bomb, and the peeps that work there are always chill and helpful. Such a great spot to hit after a show at the bowl or enjoying the downtown scene. Check it!

I love eating here on a Friday or Sunday night, late night. There's always a different crowd there so it makes for good people watching. Their prices are a little spendy but their fried rice with tofu is so worth it.

Found this place to be excellent if you are looking for high quality, healthy comfort food that tastes great at prices that are not crazy. Found the vibe and staff to be welcoming, genuine, and unique.Have been coming to Santa Barbara for over 10 years and am now a resident and just happened upon The Blue Owl. My husband and I will definitely be returning regularly. Appreciate that it's a little off of super busy State street and like the option of outside seating. Also enjoyed the live music the Friday evening we were there. Might not matter to a lot of people but loved the tiny planters of live plants and flowers on each table. My only concern is that recommendations like this will make The Blue Owl busier for me when I want to go there but so appreciate that the folks at Blue Owl are creating this enjoyable dining experience for our community during these challenging times for restaurants. Highly recommend.

Gourmet fried rice!!

Really tasty salad. They were also very accommodating towards food allergies which I appreciated. The people working there were very nice.

The sandwiches and the fried rice are delicious! The service was great!

Small portions. Expensive $13 for a sandwich you can make at home. The front desk person is really disgusting with dirty nails. The dishes smell horrible. No ventilation. Hipiehomo box with no restrooms. Not sure where workers make their needs.

Magnifique place! And I’ve never tasted a so good coffee! Next time I’ll come to eat!
