Super Cucas has amazing vegan options… obviously beans, rice, and guacamole, but then also they have plant-based meats like soyrizo, soya chicken, and soya beef. It’s all perfectly done classic California style Mexican food. Good vibes at the downtown location too, it’s nice to sit outside. And they have groceries and fresh produce.
The burritos are as big as my head and the carnitas are crispy and delicious. A friend got ONE taco and there was so much meat he split the double tortilla and had two tacos.
The food is amazing and service is some of the best. They have an excellent menu selection and the staff here are always friendly too.
All the food here was really nasty. No flavor at all, the chips were soggy, the burrito was mostly plain rice, and the agua fresca was just Inca cola. Soooo disappointing
We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way down 101. What a treat! The chicken Super Burrito was ginormous and delicious!
One of my goto spots. Like, I probably eat here more than any other place in town! Nachos (super), Tortas, and combo plates are the "ish" and I've been really been into the SUPER COMBO PLATE lately. Just gotta make sure they throw the veggies on (last 2 times they forgot and promised that they were on, only to find that they were not when I got home) VERY ANNOYING!!! But, I got a whole new plate, and correct for free so....... Personally, I've always preferred the Mesa location (think they have the best torta de milanese) but end up going to San Andres more often than not. Parking can be a nightmare.
Interesting spot, shares space with grocery and butcher counter. Carnitas brakfast burrito ($9.19) was huge, lots of delicious tender pork. Too bad all the taters and cheese were on the opposite end from where I started. They also have a location on Cliff Road, right by McDonalds. Staff was masked up, friendly and helpful.
I regularly drive from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back with my wife and our kids. Super Cucas is an absolute MUST as a stop both ways. The food is as good as the staff is kind and helpful.I would highly recommend them to anyone!
