Came for a casual dinner. Great food!!!! Good margaritas, lots of drink options. It's such a funky spot and it's great! Definitely hard to find a spot for 5 of us so I wouldn't recommend for a large group.

Rugged feel and high-class burgers collide at Kirk's. High prices? Not to worry. Seven Bar gives you a giant burger for your buck. It's actually a little hard to finish. But all that tender, delicious, perfectly cooked meat......oh, it forces you to finish. For years Kirk's has been one of the best places to grab a burger in the Bay Area, and it's not slowing down now.
Ok I have no idea what is wrong with this place. I've lived in NYC, Chicago, and LA and never experienced bounces like the ones here. I'm new to SB and my friends often come here to grab drinks before going out. I've been here 3 times. The first time I went here the bouncer told me randomly to leave. He only allowed me to stay because my group told him how aggressive is was being and asked him why I had to leave and no one else on our party. The last two times I came they would even let me in. I don't want to play the race card but... I mean, something is really off with this place and the bouncers need to be fired.
We had dinner here while visiting from out of town. We enjoyed the vibe of the patio and the service was good. The food and drinks were delicious, we will definitely be back next time we're in town!
