Overall ok, but a disappointing experience. Come for the view and people watching, not for the food or the service. We got there on a weekday for lunch and were seated pretty quickly outside so it wasn't that busy. The barbecued chicken cobb salad had lots of good ingredients, but it was soaked in ranch dressing and the chicken was pretty sparse. Plenty of bacon crumbles but they were overcooked and chewed like gravel. Get your dressing on the side. The $20 coconut shrimp snack plate looked promising and two of the five large shrimp were excellent. However, one of the shrimp had an off flavor and didn't seem to have a lot of shrimp in it, and two others were a bit too greasy to enjoy. I ordered a local beer with the food but somehow that order got lost. But the server brought it out quickly after the food had already arrived. We didn't see the server much during the course of our lunch and we flagged down a busboy to bring us some water for our empty glasses. We may give it another chance just because the location is hard to beat, and we have friends who said they got decent food there.

Generous portions! They gladly accept phone orders if you're hanging out at the beach and want decent food. Their online menu is on their website. The burgers are very, very big and tasty; the fries were ok, they got a little soggy due to the humidity in the packaging. The brisket sandwich was insanely massive, easily can be shared between two people. Everything was nicely packaged with high quality napkins and utensils. The reception staff does a great job at juggling calls, taking phone orders, and seating people.
The Reunion Kitchen on the beach in Santa Barbara is a great location for a casual lunch and drink. In fact, it doesn't get any better! Prices are a little steep because of the location, but the food was very good. My wife and I had salads, but the burgers and other foods looked very good too.

Location is fantastic! Food, cocktails, and views were awesome. Service was a little slow but easy to look past based on everything else. I would recommend. Perfect lunch date spot.
Food is good. Wait service is prompt & accurate. My main issue was that I went there before I made the reservation to confirm they could accommodate a party of 20 outdoors. They said yes and showed me exactly where and how it would be set up. We were having a guest of honor who would be speaking to the group so we wanted to be outside with a bit of privacy where we wouldn't bother other diners. When we arrived we were seated inside on one long table and our guest of honor could not speak above the noise of the bar. We asked to be moved to our original spot and Reunion refused saying their strict policy was not to seat groups our size outside. It was so disappointing. Seems like the manager we spoke with in making the reservation has different policies than the one who worked the night we were there. We had our meals and then left before dessert and gathered down the walkway for our guest to give his talk near the ocean sand under the full moon. That salvaged the evening a bit. If there's a next time I'll be sure to get the arrangements in writing!
