My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Santa Barbara and were craving sandwiches, we googled this place and found it in the outdoor mall. We were pleasantly surprised by how amazing it was and how friendly all of the staff were. We had a turkey club (the sauce on this sandwich was amazing!) and the chicken club sandwich, both fantastic! Highly recommend trying this place!
We were walking around in Santa Barbara and stumbled upon this sandwich shop! So glad we decided to eat here! The sandwiches are delicious and the service was excellent!!
I waited 45 mins for my food, but I told myself that it was more fresh, but was I wrong not only was the food astronomically atrocious the shop was also smaller than a public bathroom stall. I ordered the grilled cheese and it was so burned it was like flour and butter burned. Not to mention it was way over seasoned I would not recommend the food here. The workers on the other hand were friendly and very helpful! There was also no space to eat and there was no clean tables.
I've come here several times with my friends and it fulfills my every desire for a sandwich every time I visit! I realize that it does take a bit for each sandwich to be made but I don't mind it much, especially when I am greeted with a smile and friendly conversation every time I get my sandwich. The workers even throw in some extra pickles for me sometimes. Love it!
Enjoyable seating and good food. Time to get food was just short enough that you didn't wonder where your food is. Had the pastrami melt, tomatoe bisque and barlic bread, yes that is correct spelling. Overall a good experience, and to top it off, a dessert shop right across to cleanse the palet.
The pickle popcorn was easily the best I’ve ever had (and I LOVE pickle popcorn), the a la carte pickles were nice and fresh, and the sandwiches were something really awesome. They’re on the more expensive side, but the taste and ingredients do reflect what you’re paying for. We’ll be back, for sure!
Ordered online because of the reviews saying it would take a long time. BOY DOES IT TAKE FOREVER. Order still not ready 1 hour 3 minutes after ordering online @3pm on a sunday. It's completely unacceptable to take an hour to make a sandwich. The staff is the slowest I've ever seen and the most unorganized operation. Seriously get it together. I want a refund for waiting this long it's absurd. Staff your location better and optimize your preparation process, thanks.Oh and you served other people their food first who walked in and placed orders in person while I was waiting there for my order to be ready. Unbelievable.
I went to Pickles and Swiss and ordered a sandwich. I waited around an hour for them to make it. The business was not busy at all, and many others were ordering at the counter and getting their sandwiches before us. Not to mention that when I did get it, it was very small and not that good. The sandwich was definitely not worth spending 11 dollars for. I will not be ordering here again.
My favourite go to place for daily sandwiches. The Parma Chicken on Ciabatta is the best I’ve tasted and you genuinely taste the freshness in all ingredients. The service and cleanliness is some of the best of seen. I’d highly recommend to visit.
Waited 45 minutes outside the restaurant for an order of two sandwiches that doordash said was being prepared and would be ready at 12:30. Idk whether to blame the workers or the app for saying it was being made when it clearly was not. I understand they were short staffed but waiting 45 minutes because they said it was being prepared and would be ready is unacceptable
