We found them on maps when looking for Italian. All our little fat cell were doing the happy dance the food is that good.
Great Italian food service was great our waiter was very friendly and helpful . Have wanted to check this restaurant out for a while and so glad we did. I had a small plate of fettucini and my husband had the chicken Marcela he said was the best he had ever had will be back..

We haven't been here in a few years. The food is good, but not amazing. The red sauce is a bit bland. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. There was another waitress who clearly knows everyone, but she seemed more focused on chatting with the one table next to us than waiting tables. Her conversation with the table next to us was pretty loud and frequent. But, that atmosphere can be considered comfortable and friendly, but it wasn't something we were looking for.
This is a small and yummy Italian restaurant. Take out has a separate entrance than dine in. As soon as you enter, you can smell cheese and tomatoes! We ordered one cheese pizza, one spinach and cheese ravioli, one whitefish piccata, one creamy chicken bruschetta risotto, and two minestrone soups. The reason our experience was only 4 stars was because of the cheese pizza. It was undercooked, and the cheese was not even melted properly.Cheese and spinach ravioli, whitefish piccata, and minestrone soups were all in the middle for us. They were pretty good and tasty. The best dish by far was the creamy chicken bruschetta risotto. The tomato, basil, and oregano added a rich and warm flavor! The dish was so delightful that everyone had some.Overall, food was good and staff was friendly.
The perfect local spot!! The #2 salad with a Petrini special is the way to go. The crust in the pizza is crisp and flake...just perfect!!
Whoa..... I honestly was not expecting to be so pleasantly surprised. If you are a local, it's no news that this establishment once had it's heyday and was once the place you had trouble getting a table at. Unfortunately, over the past years, it seemed to have had "it's time" and I honestly would not have recommended/or even give it a review. Well, under new ownership (same chef to my knowledge) I decided to give it another shot and asked to order something not on the menu. A puttanesca, and was I pleasantly surprised to hear the chef would make it and with the new Calabrian chile peppers they had just got in (so delicious on their own). For starters we had were the, "must have" Brussel sprouts/bacon, Caprese, and garlic bread. Caprese is just a caprese, but at least was made with good fresh ingredients. Cheesy garlic bread is hard to not fill up on (as it should be, yum) and the marinara was on point. Could have eaten a bowl of it alone. I tried to order a breaded chicken breast side to go with the Puttanesca, but a grilled one was brought back to the table. I couldn't have been more happy that my "server/waiter" took it on himself to "not allow me" to order that, "it's to dry".... The grilled chicken breast was hot, tender and juicy (perfect) and paired probably better with my pasta than the breaded one I had ordered. The wait staff still has a little of that smug (yeah, whateva attitude), but part of the spice I'd expect from any true Italian. The new owner came out to talk about my dish selection, how excited he was about the amazingly delicious Calabrian chiles he had just received, and how the would now be running Puttanesca as a special. If you do get lucky enough to have the chance to order it, make sure they through some capers in. That would have made it PERFECT! HAPPY TO SAY I WILL ADDING PETRINI'S BACK TO RESTAURANTS I WILL EAT AT. Even if I have to ask for a water like 5 times and wait 20 minutes for it......
Good food, but not as good as it once was. I suspect cost saving techniques. That's too bad because they used to make a really good Torpedo sandwich, with grilled meats and good cheese. Last three times we ate there the meat wasn't grilled and there was no cheese, the sandwiches are pretty dull without that.
