I wasn't impressed with the food quality. Black bruschetta and black pizza were pretty good and different. However, their pasta dishes weren't that impressive. Black rice risotto was pretty bad as the rice wasn't cooked at all, although it was beautifully presented.

Thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant week menu, which seemed to work out essentially to a free dessert. Burrata app and lamb chops quite tasty and mom enjoyed her salmon over black rice. Will come back for regular menu. Sat outside in the pop-out which was nice though looking forward to dining inside sometime soon!

Delicious! Light, delicous, and unique Italian food.

We tried this restaurant for the first time during Restaurant Week and we ordered items both from the fixed-price menu and à la carte. The crab cake, the salmon entrée and the black pizza were excellent: made from high-quality ingredients and with attention to technique. It was also a pleasant surprise to find a Dolomiti beer on the drink menu. It did not take long for us to become fans of this establishment and we will definitely be back again.

First time dining. Thank you Open Table. Great food and many meals to choose from.

I brought my friends here for Restaurant Week because I was fascinated by the menu. I loved my selections. My friends were a little less impressed (salmon and creme brûlée were dry, maybe as a result of being made in advance for the restaurant week?). But we enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Creative menu without getting too weird. They stayed within the delicious parameters.

Great to find a place new to us - dining outside on State Street during restaurant week. Highlights were the beet salad, salmon and grilled fennel, and tiramisu. Attentive waitstaff and a surprisingly complex vermentino wine.

Small and quaint but the food is good and they have some unusual things like black pizza dough. Sounds awful and burnt but it’s not. It’s pretty darn good. So all I can assess is the one experience with the pizza. Wine selection is average but they have some nice wines but they are a bit pricey. Service is friendly and very good. Food is fresh and tasty. I just need to remember to ask they not put olive oil on the pizza after it is cooked due to a medical issue with oils. Otherwise I would recommend you give this authentic and creative restaurant a try.

One of the best Italian restaurants around. They make even the most common Italian dishes into extraordinary experiences, not through celebrity chef tricks and bizarre experiments but through focus on the basics: ingredients, seasoning, and skilled cooking. You may never have Italian food this good.

Service was slow, food was subpar
