Some outstanding ice cream here. All the flavors we tried were great. There's always a line in the evenings but it moves pretty quickly. If you like ice cream you're probably going to dig this place.

This is my go to place for some yummy ice cream when I'm in town . It can get busy being so close to Sterns Warf but it's worth the wait. Everyone is nice and they give samples to help you decide what to order. There's limited seating but you can always kick it at the beach or Sterns Warf.

Great ice cream with lots of flavor choices. My only knock . . . It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Worth a try.

Super yummy and worth treating yourself! Traditional and creative flavors, you'll have to go in the evenings to avoid a long line.

Lots of fashionable California hipster flavours and cute names, which is a little odd considering the old-time theme - but hey - who doesn't have a classic chocolate or even two or three chocolate choices? The quality seemed ok and the young lady who was on her own on a busy Friday night was amazing, but overall, I think they ride on their reputation and a lack of competition.

Excellent ice cream, best in years, really must visit if you are in SB. I love ice cream and McConnell's really is top draw

Chose 5 Flavors: Strawberry, Eureka Lemon, Vanilla Bean, Coffee, and Sea Salt Cream and Cookies. All of them were very good in their own respects. Eureka Lemon was quite refreshing with its lemon tartness. Strawberry tasted much more refined than any premium store-bought brands could serve. The Sea Salt Cream and Cookies had almost a caramel like taste to it. Coffee was strong and smooth, almost like having an actual semi-solid cold coffee to drink. Vanilla Bean tasted very natural without relying on a sugary overload. This is a popular establishment so expect long lines!

Expect to wait in line, take a waffle cone and a dip or two of homemade ice cream loaded with lots of flavor and extremes smoothness. The coffee ice cream is better than drinking coffee. The mint ice cream adds a coolness against the hot Santa Barbara heat. Stroll along the boulevard and back to Stearns Wharf, or take a visit along the the coast to peruse the artists' stands of fine jewelry, art. This is a must try ice cream shop!

I loved the vanilla beans! Dairy-free options available for some flavours!!

A small includes two flavors, my server kindly separated minto two bowls because the two flavors I wanted to try: lemon/marionberry and mint chip wouldn't go well together
