I ate here a couple of times and felt very welcome with friendly service and great Mexican. The wine was really good also.

The good: it was open between 2 pm and 5 pm.The bad: dry, tasteless food. Fish in fish taco so overcooked it was brown and leathery. Chicken without any flavor at all. Beans a gelatinous blob on the plate, with the film of age coating it. Chips stale. Pico de gallo tasted like it was made from hydroponic garden rejects. We stop in Santa Barbara often and look for a place open for late lunch. Won’t be stopping here again.

Great locals spot for Mexican food in downtown SB. Nothing fancy - but great service and food. Personally - like the combo dishes - but everything is excellent.

This is a great Mexican restaurant! This is their downtown location. It has indoor seating and a great takeout system.Everything is very fresh and well made with an open kitchen where you can watch them cooking your food. Close to State Street, so it's an easy walk.

The Rice! In this serving of a humble dish I first appreciate another way West Coast Mexican is the best in the US. Rice is so common a foundation to Mexican food that its excellence is an indicator of a stable menu atop it. For the record, at the time of this writing it is solely prepared with chicken broth, but I'll continue to enjoy it from time to time as the mood changes. Until then, I feel privileged to put such fine cooking in my body.

The food is fresh and the homemade tortillas are amazing! I really recommend their sopez they are handmade and super good

Always delicious, my favorite is the burrito mojado! Fast and friendly service with reasonable prices. I can’t wait until I’m in town again

The food was delicious. So good I only took pics of the appetizers. When the food landed. I just started eating

The only thing better than the presentation was the taste. So good. Had the fish & shrimp enchiladas. Very flavorful. The shrimp exploded in my mouth so tasty. We had the guacamole and it was really good. My honey had a guava margarita. Strong and tasty. If we lived here we would be back.

Love their chile rellenos, except they're never cooked enough (cheese inside chile is always unmelted).
