Good cocktails and the sea bass is fantastic. Service can be off and outdoor seating options can be strange and sunny.

Pure California on a plate and in a glass. Each dish prepared carefully with expertise and command of each component. Service was warm and welcoming. Environment was a perfect backdrop to our farmfresh meal. Because of the great experience, we visited two other Acme properties - The Lark & St. Helena Bakery. Go. To all of them. They know what they’re doing.

The ACME group purchased this restaurant in the past year or so. This company has an assortment of innovative and creative spots around town, and this is no exception. Service is outstanding. Our small group ordered different entrées and all agreed their choices were very good. Interesting wine selections, some of which are unique older bottles that were legacies from the previous venerable restaurant here at this location (Paradise Cafe). The food here is presented as original Californian which is an amalgam of Spanish and Mexican and cooked over fire. The venue is lovely, and with the vestiges of COVID still around, it is great to have such a large area for outdoor dining. Recommended dining in SB.

Fantastic experience! Our group came for a birthday and the whole staff, especially our server Bobby, made us feel so special from start to finish. The food was delicious, loved the mezcal cocktail selections. We came for dinner but apparently the brunch is great. You will not regret choosing this spot!

Amazing food and impeccable service. We celebrated our anniversary here a few weeks back and Bobby D was so thoughtful and went the extra mile to really make our night a special one. I am still dreaming of Ranch Fries and Josie's Comet! We can't wait to go back for another great experience.

The food is so great and cooked to arrange. They offer an incredible extraordinariness: corned meat hash produced using scratch. Request two- - extra firm! Most certainly a local area resource. Go at this point!

Hidden gem of Santa Barbara. The atmosphere is fun and intimate at the same time. Cute decorating touches as omage to the restaurant's history make it special and not just a cookie cutter restaurant. The food is to die for. Chef Jeremy Tummel has outdone himself. The style is old school Mexican done with a modern chefs attention to detail. We did a sampling of many items on the menu and they were all interesting and tasty and made you want to eat everything. The drinks were great as well. If you live in or are visiting its a must do!

Food was excellent, service was great. Will definitely return

Let me start off by saying this place is impeccable! I love everything about this place. There dishes were amazing and the ambiance was inviting. The servers are perfection! I came here with my partner to celebrate our 2 year anniversary ♥️ they made the night so special for us with sweet champagne and an exquisite dessert ! We left in awe! The posible was delicious and the steak was *chefs kiss*. Highly recommend!

We’re relatively new to Santa Barbara and have started checking out many bars and restaurants across town. One of our absolute favorites has been La Paloma. It’s a welcoming environment with very friendly staff (shout out to Bobby and chef Jeremy!) and incredible food. Highly recommend the mission chicken, their delicious paloma (or any of the cocktails really), and flan for dessert! Already looking forward to going back.
