My wife and I love coming to Santa Barbara and love to stay along Cabrillo Blvd. Over the years we have visited the restaurant on Cabrillo and State. We loved Jeannine’s! I had the California omelette and my wife had the avocado with a mamosa. Beautiful presentation of the food and delicious. Of course sitting outside overlooking the beach is the best! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a breakfast/brunch meal before 2:00 p.m.
This should be a must for any travel to Santa Barbara. The breakfast was delicious. There was a great variety of pastries to munch on. The staff was so kind and helpful. They offered suggestions on what to get.
Really good breakfast options (not many for diabetics though!). Friendly staff, pricey. The pancakes are ok, the french toast was delicious
This place is a gem. That could explain the line that forms every morning 15-20 minutes before it opens. Every item looks just baked and delicious. The eggs florentine were something special. cooked to perfection. Would stand in line to eat here anytime!
The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant was warm and cozy. Each employee I encountered was friendly and gave me a smile. My friend and I enjoyed our meal and wouls certainly go back for a nice peaceful breakfast.
Best food, best service and best coffee in town. Jeanine’s (all locations) are great but our favorite is the Upper State St location. Priscilla is a GEM of a customer service/server staff. Consistently cheerful, always helpful and simply goes out of her way to help everyone. We come back here at least once a week and are never disappointed. Great job everyone. How does this business owner get so lucky finding such great staff??
This place is DELICIOUS. The manager was so kind (as well as the rest of the staff) and made our two trips here to eat exceptional. The environment is lovely and clean and the fresh orange juice is to die for. The entire experience is incredible. Thanks guys! You truly made our short stay in Santa Barbara one to remember.
This place Isn’t a place for breakfast or lunch. Despite the fact they have menu for it. It is absolutely ripoff. I ordered the avocado toast, they spread thinly avocado over burnt toast. I hardly tasted the avocado. I also had scone which was not cooked enough and the size of it was half size of a scone that I can get it in any other bakery. It is a place to have a coffee. That is all and That is why I give one star otherwise they don’t deserve star at all.
stopped by for breakfast at 9am. glad we did by 9:45 they were full and had to wait. the basic breakfast is excellent. I tried the omelet with corn and spinach and goat cheese. it all worked. the has browns were excellent and the OJ is fresh. good service as well.
I dropped in for a latte and baked goods (a strawberry croissant and orange scone). All were excellent and tasted great. I wanted to come back and try their breakfast, but it just didn't work out this trip....next time for sure! It looked really good. Their baked goods selection had a nice variety. The staff was super friendly and helpful!
