This is a great coffee shop. I enjoy stopping here when I’m in Santa Barbara. I usually bring my journal. The coffee is good. I love the cookies!!!
Each time I’ve been to handlebar cafe in Santa Barbara, I’ve had the most amazing experience. The food and the drinks are both perfect, but the environment and staff make it even better. The bussers and checkout especially. Amazing !!
Long line on Sunday. Good service and coffee. They have a cute retail table as well! I really enjoyed the outdoor seating space. Dog friendly.
The ambiance is very chill and there's a good selection of curated locally made products from body soap, wines, pancake mix, honey, and coffee. An Americano and the Cold Brewed Coffee were both great picks. Avoid trying to park here if you can. It is tight and sparse.
We found out about the Handlebar Coffee Roasters through a YouTube program featuring favorite Santa Barbara attractions and restaurants. It was a great find with delicious coffee drinks and delightful pastries. The mochas were perfect, not too sweet nor bitter, and the Monster cookie was so yummy that it was gone before my coffee arrived. We enjoyed sitting on the sunny patio people watching. The wait staff was friendly.
The coffee and hot chocolate were excellent, with quick and very friendly service. We didn't try the pastries, but they looked great. Lots of other extras (maple syrup for example) are available. Parking was miserable.

This is my go-to spot for coffee in the mornings. Sometimes it's a bit crowded if you want to get a seat and get some work done on your laptop, but I usually manage to find a place to sit. Wifi is decent, coffee is amazing!
Busy but worth the wait (long line moves fast). Cappuccino had strong coffee flavor and ham and cheese croissant sandwich was super flaky and crunchy.
Best coffee I had on my vacation. When I come back to Santa Barbra, i plan on revisiting handlebar. excellent coffee.
