Okay Thrifty Ice Cream, $8 dollar scoop. Great Views.
My wife and I stopped by this ice cream shop when we were walking around the pier. I got the chocolate chip ice cream and my wife got the rocky road ice cream. It is kind of pricy but its on the pier so it's understandable. We walked to the pier from our hotel which is like a mile away so we didn't have to worry about parking. They have some benches outside for you to eat and enjoy your ice cream.
Got there at 6:23 PM. They were closed. Website clearly said 7:30pm close. Young and incredibly rude female employee said abruptly “we close at 6:30”. When I showed her the website time and pointed out that it wasn’t even 6:30 yet, she rudely walked in the door, and locked it. This was on 12/11/21.After reading through the reviews, it’s clear this is a long standing problem. The girls who work there are extremely rude and discourteous. I’ll never understand how managers allow this to just go on and on.
Smells like funnel cake. No funnel cake. No waffles. Only overpriced thrifty ice cream. Left and went to SB Sweets for some warm crepes and ice cream. They have a great location but don't deliver on the sweet fix.
I do not understand how you can justify charging 7.50 a scoop for ice cream that literally says thrifty on the side.
LOVE IT!! best ice cream and waffle cone I’ve had in a while. While they are more expensive than say a Baskin Robins, they far exceed their quality! I loved and and I recommend!!
My favorite flavor is strawberry cheesecake.
Good icecream however it's thrifty so you can get it lots of places so with that said it was fairly over priced for not homemade icecream.
Super good, fun staff, very pricey... would eat there again though.
Loved everything about this ice cream shop. There was no line when I arrived, ordered a double scoop sundae with caramel, peanuts and whip topping. Price was a bit steep at $10, but very delicious ice cream and fast service!
