Managed to get a table for two after a short 5 min wait, some larger parties waited longer so best to make a reservation, this is a popular restaurant. Great beers, wines and food so consumed too much of each! Our server was excellent. Would recommend.
Prime Santa Barbara location, classic bar type menu with sandwiches, burgers and appetisers. Prices very reasonable though they do try and catch you out with adding extra for fries.
Finney's drinks are top notch and the Ahi Poke Tacos are a crunchy delight. I paired mine with a side Ceasars Salad and it was just the right amount for a meal.Our server on the side patio was awesome. They were attentive and made sure we were well taken care of while we waited for our table in the main dining area. The pizzas being served around us looked amazing and we are going to make a point to get back and try one before our return home!Our server experience inside the main dining area was a little lacking. When we first arrived it was great, but after our drink and food orders were taken, we didn't receive any service until our food arrived. After that there was an occasional check, but we weren't asked if we wanted any other drinks and I had to ask for a water refill. There was a large 7-8 top that was seated in their section, so that may have contributed to our lack of attention.Overall we enjoyed our time at Finney's and we will be returning soon.
Stopped in for dinner since it was open late in a town where a lot of restaurants close early. Good for quick bar food. We enjoyed the mushroom truffle pizza and the fried chicken sandwich. The burger was not great. The staff was attentive even in a busy restaurant. Not the most glamorous place but comfortable for families with kids.
Stopped in for a late dinner and drinks. It was very busy but staff was extremely pleasant and efficient. Food much better than tropical pub food.
First time eating here and it was great! Friendly waitress who kept up with the table and food. I decided to get the King Salmon sandwich, and although I am not the biggest fan of salmon in general, this sandwich blew me away! Bread was amazing, salmon was well done, and the flavors were so delicious through the use of some veggies and sauce. If you are looking for a healthy and filling option here, I would highly suggest getting this sandwich. Overall, solid restaurant that is within walking distance of the beach and other shops!
Had a great time here, very chill vibe with a fun wait staff. We cane for happy hour, so the drinks were a great price and the food was super reasonable and tasted great. Nice place to visit that won’t break the bank during happy hour. Will definitely visit again!
Great food and service! I had a buffalo burger which was delicious. Service was great as well! You will not be disappointed here.
Bar food. The cheesesteak egg rolls were amazing prices. best we found on State st. I had some kind of raspberry vodka drink that was delicious. The giant pretzel was awesome. Highly recommend.
Seriously one of the best places to eat in Santa Barabara! Visiting for Memorial weekend and hands down we made the right choice by picking this place! The best pizza I have had in a long time. It was hard to choose because the menu had so much to choose from. The patio was awesome and well worth the wait! Definitely add this place to your eateries while visiting from out of town!
