I’ve been going to Chads for years and they have always had great food and service. You never have to look for your server because they are always coming by to check on you. Corn Beef Hash one of the best in the city! Only thing I laughed about was how much smaller the muffins got HA, but hey they are still great….. but please make them bigger haha. Will continue to come back and always recommend this place.
I had the corned beef hash benedict and it was incredible! Loved this place. Tiny warm delicious muffins to start, don't eat them too fast or you won't want your breakfast!
Sambo's is even older than I am (very old!) and has been a favorite for delicious breakfasts for years.
PROS: Value for money - for $15, I got an omelette, potatoes, 2 pancakes, mini muffins, 2 chicken sausages. I appreciated how big my cup of coffee was. Seated fast if you come early. CONS: Staff aren’t exactly the friendliest nor the most attentive, but for the good food, I don’t bother.
Chad's is a great lunch / brunch spot right along the beach. There are no reservations or a list, customers form a line at the door for a table. There are standard sandwiches, but also good brunch options like eggs benedict. The kids got a kids' menu and crayons. They also had great mimosa flights of mini-flavored mimosas. Service was a bit slow, but it was very busy.
Woke up early and decided to take a walk for some coffee - ran into Chad’s and stopped in for Huevos Rancheros and coffee - delish! Staff was super friendly and service was good! Will be back again - saw a killer Bloody Mary that I will have to get next time!
Food was delicious, and portions were perfect! Appreciated the complimentary mini muffins as well. Really enjoyed the mimosa flight as well.
Cool old school diner across from the beach and close to the Hilton Resort and other hotels. Breakfasts were really good and large. Kids enjoyed the french toast, and I had the chicken sausage sandwich that I would recommend. There is plenty of outdoor seating or an indoor counter if you want that. Staff was attentive and nice. Reasonable prices as well.
Got a table within minutes, great service, Quality food and great atmosphere. A bit on the expensive side but worth it!
We enjoyed the sidewalk patio with great views of the harbor. The food and service were good and it is close to the hotels on Shoreline.
