Looking at the pictures online will not do justice to the food quality they serve at this place. We ordered 5 sabzi and 2 appetizers and their food was “Authentic Indian”. I am from India and I give them 5 stars and more. The owners are very friendly and they are doing exceptional work over here in Santa Barbra. Shout out to the owners and the chef for great work. From bottom of my heart they made my heart happy and our vacation memorial. Definitely coming back. Must visit.

Such great food. My first time here and everything was great. We ordered 5 different items and shared everything. The spiciness was perfect. Definitely will come back. Service was also great.

Ate here by chance - glad we did. Not a huge menu but what they do have is very tasty & reasonably priced. Would definitely return :)

Delicious food! Tried Indian food for the first time here and was amazed. Came with 3 Indian friends and they all agreed food was good and authentic. Desert was also delicious

Definitely a good place for Indian food.Good service. Not a long walk from the beach. Great outdoor seating.

There are only a few Indian restaurants in SB. Apna is an excellent choice, especially if you wish to dine outside on State Street and people watch. Service is friendly and good. Our group ordered many different entrees and all agreed that everything was delicious. We and our friends have also ordered Apna's food for takeout and it has always been topnotch. Recommended Indian cuisine in SB.

If you like Indian food this is the best you can get in Santa Barbara. The lamb Nirvana curry is definitely worth getting. Careful with the spice as the Indian spice levels can be pretty high if your not used to it.

Incredible food. They use high quality ingredients and it shows. Very tasty. Incredible, committed, kind team. Chill environment. Keep up the great work Apna team. People are taking note!

We absolutely loved Apna Indian Kitchen. We visited Santa Barbara on Christmas and all places were closed except for Apna Indian Kitchen. We saw they had 4.7 stars in Google Reviews and they were every bit worth it. We loved it so much that we visited the next day for dinner again! It is family owned and one of the family members is the head chef. They live by their motto "always be faithful to quality".We ordered Malai Kofta, Yellow Dal, Indian Latke, Masala Chana, Punjabi Fish Fry, and Garlic Naan. Indian Latke (aloo chat), Punjabi Fish Fry, and Malai Kofta were outstanding! Compared to those, the dal and Chana seemed average (they were still good but we were spoilt by the starters!). The complimentary Chai was a nice addition!

Just spent a nice weekend in Santa Barbara. Being out for Christmas on a rainy day was an experience to remember. Most places are closed and rest are over crowded. We went to 3 places before we found Apna Indian Kitchen open. It is centrally located in downtown Santa Barbara. They have cooler with large choice of beer and wines. We had to wait but we saw staff work fast and hard to take care of the customers. Despite pressure they were courtious and got us hot food that we all loved. We will go back again.
