Went to pick up two UberEats orders for delivery. They only had one of the orders and claimed to have never received the 2nd order. Per their instructions driver's can pull into a stall or drive thru to pick up orders. I pulled into a stall and they never came out after repeatedly attempts to push the button. Finally after almost 10 minutes, I went to the drive thru. Asked to speak with the manager and her explanation was lame and didn't make sense considering they normally come out to your car. I would NEVER recommend this location to anyone.
Sonic is great it's a relief that I can go 20 to 25 miles to go to Sonic to get it feels like home back in Oklahoma the food is wonderful I love that chili cheese tater tots it's just really fantastic but I just don't like driving so long to get there too bad they don't have a sonic closer to me cuz I would go there every time instead of Del Taco I've been reading some if y'all review and I'm sorry y'all had a bad experienced but don't y'all think it could have been y'all having a bad day I know when I do I don't have patience and when I did go up there the rootbeer didn't taste like root beer so I just told them and he changed it sometimes people do make mistakes because there only human and sometimes after or even during the epidemic it's really hard to find people who really don't want to work or just being lazy u know I really feel sorry for food services there really getting a bad rep. Please I know I love this place and I know a lot of would to if u just be patient and more understanding with people cause it is the people not the food please don't let people ruin a good place that has good food sorry for it being so long
I'm gonna assume it was because it was Saturday and they just got busy, but I wasn't impressed. (They did have a few cars in the drive thru but only like 3 parked in the car hop and it was around 2pm) I ordered with the app, checked in and then when my order appeared on the screen we waited like normal, but after it said it was on the way the screen reset. I waited about 5 minutes then pushed the button, waited for someone I asked about my order since it disappeared from the screen she asked the name of the order and said sorry it would be out asap, and I still waited several minutes after that. I can understand busy but this was ridiculously unorganized, and I probably wouldn't go back to this location.
I realize they were busy, but I was also hungry. I pulled into a stall and immediately pressed the button for service. The screen said that they would be right with me to take my order. I kid you not, I waited 13 minutes and no one ever came back to acknowledge my presence or to hold on. I just backed up, drove away, I went home and just ate leftovers. Thanks Sonic! You saved me 15.00
We used to love coming here for drinks and small appetizers. We got most of our order. The drinks and burger were fine but they forgot our order of mozzarella sticks. The large fries portion has really shrunk and they even forgot the chili.
Two trips to Sonic and both times they messed up my order. The lady who gave me the food made no effort to fix the mistake. Their customer service is terrible. There are a lot of fast food choices. Sonic is a definite pass.
It's hit or miss on the food. Let's be honest with ourselves it's fast food. But the reason you come to Sonics, or at least my reason, is the shake's and slushes. All their shakes are delicious and their slushes are refreshing and best enjoyed with their happy our prices. The service can be hit or miss.. from meh! To great. The line can get pretty long at times, mostly during happy hour. Still a good spot for a quick bite or nice treat.
Every time we try to eat there, we push a button and wait 20 minutes, get no service. Only helping people in the impossibly long drive thru line. Not coming back.
We just left there. We pushed the button 2 times... They never came... Terrible. Terrible service. And all the owner says is sorry . drive thru was moving..here we have all these issues... And none of them r getting resolved...thank you is in order.. Eric.. The manager called ... And made things Right... Classy man great food and service. Give him a chance. He gave us a chance to come back... And the food was fresh and delicious. Thx their patty melts ..were so worth every bite
This place is on the corner my my house and my kids love sonic but unless we are going just for drinks we drive to the one in Costa Mesa. The wait times are way to excessive especially when all you are getting if drinks. I understand short staffed and covid and everything I also work in the industry. But 20 or more mins for 3 drinks is ridiculous. If you do order food you will be here for more than 40 mins and your order will not be right and most likely cold. Also I do not understand why they do not open until lunchtime. Wr started going to the Costa Mesa location they are super friendly they open earlier and stay open later they are very clean they keep the maintenance up and we get our food in a timely manner. I have lived in the area of this sonic since before it opened and I don’t know if it is a new owner or management but it has gone so downhill lately. It is messy the parking lot if always littered with trash and it just seems like management just does not care it is very sad seeing as this is a great location.
