Liars they just want to steal your money these ppl don’t care about the customers at all cakes are not all that great here save your money go somewhere else! Horrible customer experience!
This bakery was recommended to me by a friend. We sent a message to the owner and asked if the cake could be made with duck eggs because our daughter has an allergy to chicken eggs. She replied no but it can be made vegan. What bakers that have been to culinary school don't know how to make a cake with duck eggs? We are from New York and the best cake chefs in the world have said duck eggs make the best cakes. We have never had a bakery say no to the substitution. We even said we didn't care about the extra cost. I don't think this bakery should be rated as the one of the best they can't even make a custom cake using a different egg substitution.
I went in wanting to love the cake, I ordered a mango cake for my sons birthday and it looked really good but the cake was dry and the frosting tasted old, literally no one in my family liked the cake at all and they ended up buy a grocery store cake we could have instead.
This is my go-to bakery for any kinds of pastries, whether it's cupcakes or a birthday cake. I love/appreciate how she has a variety of flavors for her cupcakes, even ones where you can't find anywhere else (like the watermelon chamoy & mango madness) and to add to it, her pastries are not sugary sweet like the majority of store-bought cakes or from other bakeries. On top of this, she can customize/create pretty much any character or design for your cake and they are so cute and well done; clearly she puts a lot of effort and takers her time when creating them. Even when you step into her bakery, you can see all her talent radiate off of all the pastries she has on display. I have a ton of respect for her as she is the sole baker of the pastries she creates -along with the help of her husband- and keeps a positive attitude.
We recently ordered from Simply Sweet Cakes for the first time and let me te you, they did not disappoint! The cake was so good! *chefs kiss* The decorations were amazing! Everyone simply loved the cake. Will definitely be a returning customer.
Discovered these cupcakes at a birthday party. The salted sea salt caramel cupcake with the pretzel on top blew my mind! Had a nibble of the strawberry shortcake variation and it was equally yummy.
It is a taste experience. Flavorful. Always on point with ideas given, picture used any idea you give they implement. Respectful of customer needs. Always made with love !!
I decided to buy a cake because the reviews were really good, unfortunately the cake wasn't. I felt really embarrassed of giving this cake to a special person. It was a carrot cake and it's supposed to have cream cheese filling and it did, but just a small part of the cake had it, the rest had some kind of butter sugar filling that was way too sweet and you could feel the sugar grains in every bite. Being a fan of carrot cake the bread was more like banana bread mixed with hardly any carrots. Sadly I won't buy here ever and would totally not recommend it.
They were able to make my birthday cake with less than a week’s notice. The cake was beautiful on the outside and amazing on the inside! Very rich, very moist, everyone was so impressed because it was literally the best cake I’ve ever eaten. I ordered in advance because I came in from out of town and they made it exactly how I wanted it!
Really good cakes, and beautifully decorated. Must try their cupcakes, you pick the flavor topping and they do it on the spot within 10 min. Today I bought a 12 pk and a 6 pk. Plus an Easter bunny, with cake filling for a little girls basket...perfect size. Go on line to see what they can do. Very nice people, it was a new find for me when I was looking for Unicorn birthday cake for an 8yr.old.
