My buddies and I go here for "Hog Night" lol. We pound fish and booze, it is becoming a tradition. Awesome spot, very friendly staff and don't forget to tip well. Just because it is a buffet doesn't mean you can be cheap with the staff.
Came here for the first time last night with my boyfriend and it was seriously the best sushi we had ever had together. The staff were all very kind helping us with anything we needed. They have so many options. I only recently got into sushi and have been worries about trying places other than Nobu… lol. This place lives up to the hype! Will definitely be back!

Love this place! After eating at Ponzu I have not been able to have sushi anywhere else. I had the lollipop roll, a roll with no rice wrapped in cucumber, the halibut carpaccio was amazing and fresh. The surf and turf roll is highly recommend! I cannot remember the name of the roll my husband ordered pictured in the photo with my Lollipop roll ?
Best sushi I ever had! I had the trust A set and the double trouble as an appetizer. Food was perfectly balanced and the service was good.
Ponzu sushi is always very good, however we were discriminated during our last visit. We put our name down on the waitlist, party of four total, two adults & two kids. The waitress went ahead and sat down two parties before us even though they arrived after us. One party was just two people who sat at the bar, which is understandable, however the other party that arrived AFTER us and ALSO put their name on the list sat down at a four seat table. This is seriously ridiculous and shameful, we were clearly discriminated, no doubt about it…..so we came to get our sushi at Ami Sushi down the street which is ALWAYS delicious, quite a bit cheaper and they know how to make you feel welcome. We do not plan on visiting Ponzu again, this is super disrespectful and unacceptable.
We just absolutely love this place. We live in the neighborhood and order at least once a week. Their bento boxes are the best. Comes with fresh salad, gyoza, sushi, chicken etc SO YUMMY!! Never disappoints us. I wouldn’t recommend the beef bento box however beef is not the best option here.Friendly service and have great lunch specials during the week. Call in and take home, perfect take out packages to enjoy your meal.Why bother going to fast food. Their prices are so high now and you can get a high quality meal here for about the same price.Ponzu rocks!! Definitely give this place a try ?
Fantastic, Sky took such great care of us!!! He was very attentive and seasoned the food perfectly!!! Was definitely much pricier than expected for the omokase, around $100 per person, and only served about 6 bites of food...For me personally, yes best bites of sushi I ever had, just be ready to pay for it!!!
Very fresh fish. Good service. I've been here a handful of times and always leave 100 percent satisfied. Slightly pricey for Santa Ana area but definitely worth it !!!
