I went there at 11:07am on 7/10/22 to pick up a $52 carryout order. On the phone with my wife, they said that they accept credit card but when I arrived they said cash only. I simply restated their policy but a skinny short guy RUDELY said that we ONLY accept cash or you HAVE TO PAY 15% GRATUITY or you can get out. Furthermore, an older guy (assuming that he is the owner) verified the other guy and even declined to take my $40 cash and chathing my creditcard$12. THESE PEOPLE ARE DOING THIS TO NOT PAY SALES TAX AND THAT IS AGAINST THE CALIFORNIA and US LAW and shouldbe reportedto state authorities...In my 23 years of living in America, I have never been treated in this manner and this hurts even more since my wife is Vietnamese. This establishment clearly doesn't deserve our business and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
I was surprised. I thought pho Tau Bay was suppose to be huge bowl of Pho. Their Tau Bay was only regular size as other place. And the price for two bowl of Pho was $27. He said if I pay card, I get charged another 15% which was another $4 on top of that $27. I eat Pho many places but this first time I encountered such place. This was my first time and is my last.
One of the best banh cuon restaurants.
Banh Cuon a must & chè hạt sen! Dont know why the name of pho resturant. only come here for Banh cuon.
Best original taste of banh cuon in Orange county, I believe. Nenuphar (ly hat sen) for refreshment was good so far.
This is a supposed to be an authentic Pho restaurant that was originally from Saigon, Vietnam. They are famous with their Pho and Banh Uot. We found the Pho was OK, not too bad but not a wow using the original Vietnamese pho standards. The Banh Uot was really good. The portion was not as much as other places but the taste was better. The restaurant is quite large and has many inside seats. Plenty of parking spaces. This is a handicap friendly facility.
Best roll rice pancake aka banh cuon from Vietnamese cuisine. Also good pho noodle soups. Parking plenty. Fair prices.
It is my favorite place for Banh Cuon. We had some before we set out for a busy day. It has been there for decades.
Too expensive for a small portion, rude waitress. I don't recommend this place.
The worst Pho ever I have in Little Saigon plus the waitress (big girl) should smile whenever she talks to the customer.
