We were looking for a place to get pastrami on our way to the beach, and I'm so glad we took a chance here. I saw from the reviews they were new and wasn't sure. Well, let me tell you, I am a fan! Not only were all the sandwiches phenomenal, the staff was so warm and inviting. You can tell they take a great pride in their shop and product. We had the pastrami on a baguette, the suga Mama (chef's kiss ?, my favorite), and the Italian grinder (also fantastic). This will definitely become our regular spot to stop in and grab a sandwich on our way to the beach. The only bad thing, but not a reflection of the owner because I don't think these are made in house, was the black and white cookie. These were so disappointing, they tasted off, very off. Other than the sad cookie, the experience made me want to be a regular! Try it, you'll love it.

Amazing sandwiches! I got the oven-roasted turkey sandwich, it was so tasty, fresh, and of great quality. Customer service was great as well. Will definitely be returning.

I've been surprised at this place. The large chains have been struggling. All the while, New York Slice Deli has been kicking butt by bringing in the good quality deli meats with really cool specialty sammiches. The ingredients come together in a well thought balanced combo of meats & cheese. A clean built sandwich on a nice chewy hoagie roll. The roll really provides structural integrity, which is an often forgotten element that goes into making samiches. A surprising, filling stack for sure.

A true deli, few of these left in Southern California. Sandwiches were delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The Fat Boy is a great combination of cold cuts and crispy bacon with the works and the meatballs sandwich is truly amazing made to order with melted provolone cheese smothered in sauce in a fresh bread. Service is also great, friendly staff makes the visit a delight and fast.
