Great experience here. Staff was extremely pleasant and courteous. The food was great except for my one complaint. I had the ceviche (and other items) but it was not to my liking. It lacked flavor and was doused in lime. That is literally my only complaint. The other food we had was extremely satisfying and well portioned. I recommend this wonderful place to any and everybody.
Don't let the photos fool you jnto thinking the food tastes as amazing as it looks. I really wanted it to. It's not. So disappointed. Wasted money should have gone down the street to Rubio's. While staff was friendly and attentive and I was served immediately the food was so awful. The albondigas ($11) was way too salty so I had to add water to the lukewarm soup where the meatballs were still rare. It was disgusting. The guesadilla was just bland, greasy and seasoning too salty. The chips were stale and we ended up throwing it out. I wanted to love this place but there are better places to dine in the area.
It's Cinco De Mayo! Looking for a good Mexican Authentic spot? This is the place. First time and I'm truly impressed. Taco Bell has Nothing on Little Onions version of The Mexican Pizza. Twice the size and super delicious. Added carnitas on mine. Hubby chose a fajitas dish dinner plate and let me say for the price it was reasonable. Love the ambiance. Little on the outside spacious on the inside with its double deck seating area. Super impressed with their leather covered menu. Loved it!
Great wait staff! Super professional and on point. The inside environment felt like an authentic Mexican restaurant! Our veggie enchiladas and guacamole were delicious. Don’t skip on the margaritas!
Just mediocre. I love good Mexican food but this was just ok. Prices were pretty high for the quality of food. Service just ehhh.I was really looking forward to a Purple Haze after seeing them on the photos but they no longer make them. They were also out of Mango Margarita's which would have been my second choice so I just stuck with a Pacifico ($7)I ordered a 2 item combo plate and so did my friend. I chose the shredded beef crispy taco and chile rellano, she ordered the chile rellano with shredded beef enchilada. My taco was a bit too burnt, beans and rice were not hot, chile rellano was just average. She loved her shredded beef enchilada.Waitress was slow bringing water and refill of chips and salsa. Salsa was ok, chips were warm and just ok. I have had better food for less expense. Seems quite overpriced for what you get but it was located close to the Segerstrom Center so we tried.Probably won't be back.
The red enchilada sauce is perfect.Enchilada were packed full.Red don't taste good but the normal one are great. Salsa is ok
A step above most Mexican restaurants. Service and food are top notch. Atmosphere is cozy and charming. The mole sauce on the enchilada was outstanding. Meats and vegetables are high quality and fresh. Everything is loaded with flavor, and stylishly presented. Even the chips and salsa are excellent.
Little Onion is the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Delicious food, friendly service, outstanding cocktails, and great ambience. I’m visiting from out of town and have been here three times this week. I can’t get enough!
Drinks were good but the food isn't. Chicken tacos are Del Taco quality and fall apart. The queso fundido didn't taste at all like Oaxacan cheese, more like canned nacho cheese.
The best spot in OC for authentic Mexican food. Quality ingredients, excellent service and exceptional drinks. The patron margarita is worth the price. Love this place!
