Sammy, the owner, is also co-owber of the Green Parrot Villa in Santa ana. Both places are amazing. My wife and I were married at the green parrot and we had our food tasting at la Chiquita. Its all amazing and they give you a TON of food. The photo i included is the green chili pork burrito!
Came across this great little restaurant. I got my annual Xmas tamale, better than last year's COSTCO tamales.
It is simple. This place has the best food, prepared and served by the best staff. Period. Pick anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed. Particularly good are the Beef and Bean Sopita’s, tamales, and enchiladas.

Mexican Food Authentica!! One of the best Mexican restaurants in Orange County, if not the best. No thrills No frills. But Super Great food. I had the Chili Verde Pork awesome and the Huge Chili Relleno awesome. If you love Mexican food or want to try Mexican food this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed. Palabra!! or Word!!
Two stars is for the friendly service and good vibes felt while waiting for food. Ordered three different entrees and all was bad except for beans, rice and salsa.
Stumbled upon this place and decided to go in. Very clean, nice staff and the food was very good. Had a cheese enchilada and a beef tamale. Prices are reasonable and the service was quick. Will go back. Sorry about the enchilada....I cut into it before I remembered to take the photo.
