We have not been to Darya since the pandemic. It was so nice to dine there before going to the segerstrom. The food is delicious and service was great. So happy to be back!!
I got food poisoning last night after going to Darya Restaurant in Costa Mesa.Like other reviews mentioned, we will never go back to this place. This is the worst Persian food we ever had in our life.The server and manager were very rude when we contacted them to let them know about this matter and they were insisting we went to another restaurant!Everything was terrible including serving us cold tea, old bread, the Soltani meat was tasteless and the boneless chicken was old, however, we never expected to get sick. This is unacceptable!

Very friendly staff and delicious food.We had tah dig with three stews and mix of chicken, lamb and shish kabob with mast mousir.All stews were delicious but there is no meat, so best is to order that dish as an appetizer.
Very nice Persian restaurant. The outside dining area is charming as well. The only complaint I have is the dirty fountain right in front of the entrance. They should really have a major cleaning!!
Love Darya. Have been coming here for many years. Had a different t waiter this time. Not the greatest.
Super quiet and no one was inside. Food was okay but you can get better tasting food at Panini Kabob grill for a fraction of the cost!! You are really paying for the waiter services and even then the ambiance was not that nice, felt very gaudy.
Everything was fantastic! The only suggestion is to improve the koobedeh, it was on the dry side. But the barg is one of THE BEST anywhere. I must mention that our server was incredibly professional, very hospitable, spoke perfect English and Persian, and rocked an awesome mustache!
