California's Teriyaki Grill is a great lunch spot. Very basic options but that is why I like it. Keep it simple and do it well. That is what they do and I have no complaints. I will be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy lunch.
I usually bring my own food and needed to eat. The menu outside is inaccurate but I was already here and didn’t want to waste my lunch break. The beef and chicken was kinda burnt and the portion for the price was not worth it. I wish I went to ono and paid a few more bucks for almost double the food.
The food is good but some times the chicken is over grilled and doesn't taste good

Place is great! however... Chicken is best, pork second and beef last imo. Why you ask? It's the juiciest to the driest. If I had to pick a con about this place is price to portion is lacking imo. Either I have a big appetite(which is kinda ture) but imo one portion leave me hungry for more. Could spend the same amount at a Hawaiian bbq and get more food. I would 5 star without a doubt if bigger portion. Pro is that I'm never disappointed with plate a side from portion size. They deliver but I usually come through drive thru but beware if driving in as drive thru is small and when I say small I mean 3 cars long small so best be prepared.
**** 1 year Updated Review ****** 1/26/2022They raised the prices up $2.00!! Not worth it anymore. I understand inflation costs but come on! At least raise it a dollar! Mcdonald's across the way will give you the whole meal for about the same price.

Not a review but does anyone know how long this place has been here? Where did Mos Burgers go? Out of business? I moved out of OC 26 years ago that's why I'm asking?
