100% worth the drive from San Diego and the place to stop on the drive back to San Diego. Of course they aren’t the huge amazing burritos we are used to in SD, so stop comparing them, those reviews almost made me not stop and try La Palma and I would have missed out big time. California and breakfast burritos are a completely different category of burrito for obvious reasons. I would compare these burritos to the fabulous ones in Tijuana at the border crossing, but much more flavorful! Remember the burritos that your grandma/mom packed? Homemade! Just like that! The handmade flour tortillas are fire. I really appreciate the serrano peppers. Super tasty! We purchased a bunch and they were still hot by the time we made it back to SD.

I got the special and it was good but I don’t think it’s worth the price honestly. Should just buy each burrito individually might be worth it more.

A good bean and cheese burrito is indicative of a place that really focuses on the quality of their menu. And Burritos La Palma does a great job of making this item rich and flavorful, just as it would be in Mexico.

Absolutely delicious. Great price. Burritos are a really nice size. Not that big but filled with some of the best stuff ever.

The burritos are good. They give a home made feel to them. I'd recommend the Quesa Birria, Birria de Res, or their bean and cheese burritos. All great tasting. They only have to go orders but it's a great spot.

Drove from San Diego because of the hype on a Netflix show. Not bad... But not great! Had 3 different burritos and they satisfied my hunger... Better burrito places down here in SD!

As advertised by Jonathan Gold and Michelin, these burritos are small but packed with flavor. The staff here was friendly to help select the burritos that would fill anyone's taste palate. Sadly can't dine in but able to make orders to go and enjoy at home.

After watching the burrito episode of Taco Chronicles on Netflix which featured this place, I headed straight there, almost by involuntary motion-- I had no choice but to indulge in these mouthwatering creations. And boy, did it NOT disappoint. You need to know the size of these burritos makes it so you'll want to order more than one (admittedly, I eat 3-4 at a time!), and their prices make that a totally reasonable indulgence. I think priciest birria "con todo" is $4.25 and comes with the traditional stewed beef, their trademark, creamy, lard-richened beans and cheese, swaddled in an AMAZING house-made flour tortilla. Pro tip: Get an order of tortillas to go, you'll eat them plain even throughout the week. There isn't one burrito on this menu that will disappoint but my favorites are the deshebrada (juicy shredded beef, green chile, and potato)-- I add cheese to this one even though it doesn't need a damn thing. The birria con todo, as described above, and the simple bean and cheese. The way these burritos are packaged for takeaway (no on site dining provided- no problem!) make it so you can eat the burritos at your leisure and even the next day. Zero sogginess, zero greasiness, excellent hot, lukewarm, or reheated. The salsa it's served with is perfection. I'm totally addicted to this place and have a hard time staying away. It's a once a visit, period! Staff are super friendly and the place is clean, clean, clean and fast to serve you up. Tip well, this place rules the roost!

Burritos la palma was one of those things in life where you enjoy the moment, l have never try real Mexican food. I was watching nextflit then l started watching this TV show and l was like , l have to try this. The tortillas are so delicious and its just unique, Berria burritos is tue best. Get yourself a birria burrito/quesadilla, and a bean and cheese burrito and you'll understand why this place is so good
