The food and drinks here are top notch! As a party of 3 we shared every appetizer, a salad, and the brown butter cake dessert. Everything was excellent! We especially enjoyed the Korean tacos and the cake. The cocktails are creative and each had a unique taste. Be sure to make a reservation!
Good food is hard to find. Benchmark doesn't sell good food. Benchmark sells an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere creates both a tranquil and grounding effect. The drinks are beyond amazing and main course makes you wonder if you have room for dessert. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor and try this place. You'll be glad you did.

His understanding of the food along with the drinks made dining here an exceptional experience.The food itself is simply outstanding. Everything has such robust flavor and nothing was overwhelming. It's like each dish was made simply to make the next even better.The ambiance really made the mood and complimented each dish. Benchmark located in the heart of Santa Ana, is one of the best places to eat Al fresco. Perfect for a date night or brunch date. Benchmark serves new American food that is refreshing and inviting. Word of advice: plan your visit around the weather. I’d recommend any temp between 72-78F for that perfect SoCal weather to pair with such a beautiful out door space.

The food is family style with portions for about two or three people per plate. It was on the more expensive side but worth the money!Carlos heard us talking about the wedding & brought us complementary ice cream to celebrate ?.

Wow. This place is amazing. The ambiance is quaint but the FOOD IS DELICIOUS. I was at a Michelin rated restaurant last night and BENCHMARK IS BETTER. We came here for brunch and I was pleasantly surprised at how much space was available (we got there right at noon when it opened). Their drinks are infused with sake and flowers. Very interesting and delicious. I highly recommend: -crispy pork belly -eggs Benedict -chorizo con papas y juevos -brunch flat iron -croissant bread pudding -brown butter cake This is a must go for everyone.
Was very excited about this place, but the food was a little flat for how inflated and self important their price point was. The vibe was great with conversations flirting about, but the broken heat lamps in,admittedly, california winter was a downer. Fine point of the food were the drinks. Go for drinks.
