Obviously the flavor never changes, so the ice cream is always good. This location needs attention. They need to turn up the AC or fix it for costumers and employees.You still can't eat your ice cream inside unless you're standing, the chairs are just stacked and for some reason there's a big table right in front of the cashier register that makes it difficult to hear and order.
My experience at this location was just awful. This week, I came in to place a custom cake order two days in advance for my little sister's birthday. I was told I was supposed to receive a phone call from the "baker" to discuss my custom order but I found it strange my order wasn't taken at that very moment like every other stores. I gave the benefit of the doubt since every store functions differently but nope I've never received a phone call or given any indication for my order. I stopped by to discuss any issues so I may take my business else where. The employees were kind enough to explain they were given new rules to follow and every order had to be approved by the owner first and were not allowed to write down orders. I expressed to them I wasn't a fan of that idea of orders forcibly approved by the owner, I have never heard of such thing in my 23 years. As the employees called the owner so I may express my saddened concerns, I expect a solution to the issue but unfortunately I was wrong. While I was attempting to speak on the phone to the owner (he was on speaker) with a nasty attitude he quoted "NO I DON'T HAVE TIME I WILL CALL YOU IN 10 MINUTES" I once again express to him I do not have time to "wait" for his call in return, I already took time out of my busy schedule of studies being a full time student/full time employee to speak civilly for an issue. Once again he responded "NO I WILL CALL YOU BACK WHENEVER I CAN DO IT” then aggressively hangs up. The employees were in complete shock and immediately apologizing to me and offered a free cake as an apology behalf of the store owner. I politely declined. In my perspective, it is unfair these employees work a minimum wage job dealing with such an unreasonable and irresponsible store owner. They do not receive enough payment for such treatment. Afterwards, I decided to leave and take my business else where, as soon as I left, the store owner proceeds to call nonstop interrupting my daily schedule once more. With his rude interaction, I no longer wanted to place in an order and refused to speak to him. This man continued calling and called me from a different number desperately attempting to receive my answer, I felt extremely uncomfortable after he decided to text me, making up random excuses and offering me free cake. My advice do not come by and place a custom cake order unless you want this guy to continually harass you especially if you are a women.And his name is Faishid Baharí (Fred)

Worst store I have ever seen in the pandemic, I went to a store in Tustin a day before and was happy to see things there however, after visiting santa ana store today, I hope I will never visit Baskin Robbins for not keeping the consistent policies in the stores and not caring for people's health, the lady who served us was alone in the store and wasn't wearing mask and serving without the hand gloves, how else she would do it as she had more importantly had to wear false nails ;)

The ice cream was delicious! I had a Gold Medal Ribbon cone and my husband had a Hot Fudge Sundae. The ice cream is always good, but I have to say part of the reason for this positive review is that the young man who waited on us was polite accommodating and very good at his job. I had a special request about my ice cream. He accommodated me and made sure that I had exactly what I wanted. Even though he was the only person working in the shop, he listened to each customer and gave them just what they wanted. I thought he did a great job! If I knew his name I would mention it now. Baskin-Robbins is a reliable treat when you're in the mood for ice cream. No matter how much you may try to talk yourself into that frozen yogurt...?.... it can't really compare with Baskin-Robbins creamy, delicious ice cream!

Store closes early, we showed up 10 mins before closing and they were locked up and mopping. I would not be happy if I was the owner of this location (Mac Arthur and Bristol in Costa Mesa)
Best place for dreams especially the milkshakes they are delicious
