Omg, this would be the best lunch I’ve had nearby Costa Mesa…Only cost USD 34 for 2 plates, but the taste is way above it; awesome.We 3 adults with 1 kid, cannot finish 2 plates.BBQ beef/ short rib and chicken katsu are really really good and worth trying.Sides include Vegetable/ Salads/ steam rice; the rice is really good.Also must try the katsu source… perfect match Chicken katsu.
CAN YOU SMELL?!?!?! WHAT ALOHA IS COOKING.... This review is a little long over due but this is the best place to go for your Hawaiian BBQ fix. The BBQ beef is top tier. The portion that they serve you, you got to look back at the receipt to double check if you ordered "extra meat" because they're generous with it.
I LOVE this place...BEST Hawaiian BBQ ANYWHERE...macaroni salad is the BEST...most put too much mayo these guys are just perfect...chicken and meat ALWAYS cooked perfectly would give them 10 stars if I could
Ordered a pick up order at 10:30 AM for pick up at 11:00 AM. When we got into the store, the guy at the front was on the phone and didn't even acknowledge us. by 11:15, we asked if we could just get our food and pay because the order was already placed and the bag of food was directly behind him. He ignored us and just pointed a finger at us to wait. We left, without food, after a 15 minute wait.
We order 2 family size package for pick up for a small gathering we were having and by the time we were about to have dinner we noticed they didn't include any of the sauces for the meat, it was late and we were not going to drive back 20 min to the restaurant, we should have probably asked if everything was included but if they are selling a package then should provide everything need it.
They changed the portion size, price went up. The cabbage is now pickled. This place might have been under new management or the cooks changed.
I got 4 different combos. Seafood mix, Hawaiian BBQ mix, Chicken Combo and Hawaiian BBQ. They were all excellent. The family loved them. Very generous portions.
First time I order from this location and found a worm in the lettuce. Quite unfortunate to say the least. Makes you wonder of their sanitary measures...
Good portions. Awesome service. Delicious food. I haven't had no problems at all. Great tasting food.
Very good as always. The side dishes and the main dishes are all amazing and the amount of food you get is also astounding. Expect to pay about 15$ a person but its well worth it. 5/5
