Are you kidding? I made reservation for 2 via Open Table, after reading and checking times on website. Arrived at Tomahawk in time for our 1:45 reservation. Tomahawk was closed, with no sign of opening. Yet, I received confirmation of reservation. So disappointing.
This must be a joke. I donât think anyone that worked their has dined at a restaurant. I felt like I was paying $500 for a dinner my kids made and served me. They told us they wouldnât recommend eating items we ordered! WTF! The Tomahawk steak was terrible. It came out 20 minutes before the rest of our food. They forgot all the sides we ordered. Total joke this place wonât be there for another month.
We ordered two tomahawk steaks both cooked medium rare and it was delicious! I can't wait to go back for it again. We started with the calamari and no lie, was some of the best fried calamari I've had. We also had the lobster Mac and cheese and that was extremely tasty and cheesy. Lastly I'd recommend the creamed spinach, that was really really good.
Great place loved the food I would recommend them anytime even the staff was great and friendly
Steak wasnât too flavorful and medium rare was more on the rare side to where I couldnât even cut the meat, kids cheeseburger was too well done, Brussel sprouts were bland. Could be better in my opinion.
Very friendly server. Steakhouse prices but the steak was not good at all. WE all ordered Filet Mignon and it had the taste and texture of a strip steak at the airport.
Service was odd. We had a reservation. We came in right on time, restaurant probably 80% empty. Waiter tells us they will prépare our table. assembles quickly 3 tables. Out of 5 , 2of us only had silverware when the food came and 3 had to ask. Things got weird especially when the waiter was about to order alcoholic cocktails for my 3 underage teens. We ended up ordering virgins mocktails after serveral to make ourselves understood. Mocktails $16. Rib eye ($60) cooking was uneven, order medium rare, was more medium well on one end and medium rare at the bone. Heavily peppered . Priced ok for a steakhouse but meat was just average. Small sides of spinach and mashed. Potatoes. Really average or below on the sides . Grilled crab legs were drowning under at least 2 cups of melted butter. No towelette or any additional protection. Tiny pieces and dry meat. Doesn’t come with garnish Overpriced $38 for this dish Lobster Mac n cheese . For $45 you’d expect a tail. It is advertised it is claw meat though , so not complaining on this, but you barely get 1 claw , cut in tiny pieces . Really overpriced. Surf and turf $67. Shrimp were dry, lobster on the firm/overcooked end; meat ok. Same spinach and mashed small sides as for the rib eye. Fish and chips . Probably why I m giving a 2nd star. $24. Nice portion of fries, with the correct crispness. Batter and fish were good. Regretting my 2nd star. No coleslaw !! Seriously . Tartar sauce was commercial premade. You would expect home made in a white cloth restaurant. Glass of wine $15 (decent list of California only except 2 Argentina and 1 Chile . All glasses $14 to$20) Check comes with a 20% gratuity already added for a party of 5. Not sure why. Close the $400 for the 5of us. Overpriced , disappointed for our daughter’s graduation dinner. Will just not go back. Not for us- others may enjoy
It was pretty empty. There was an array of people and noise volume. The food was good but not excellent. It was ridiculously expense for the service, plating and ambiance.
Service slow…. Food was ok. Not worth it
The tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection!
