I love this restaurant, it is not well known. I'm sure if more people knew about it the service would be quicker. However, I'm usually not in a hurry. I feel like I'm on vacation when I dine on their terrace.
The ambiance was so bad, we did not stay. Literally my friend and I were the only people in the restaurant. The tables inside were not even set. We went to the balcony which was very small and again, not set for diners. I can see why no one was there.
Severely understaffed and kitchen was ridiculously slow. Food was good after everything took 90min to arrive.
The food is not as good as I had them in last November. Chicken breast was over cooked and burned, kind of dry and not tender. The staff is very friendly and the view from the balcony is always fabulous!
Decadent place that doesn’t fit the view. Sandwich wrapped in aluminum foil. Burnt chicken. Sad experience. I expected more from reading the past reviews.
Our server is very polite, friendly and always with her sweet smile and served us well. The food took a little bit longer to get them, but it was fine with us as we enjoyed outdoors seating seeing beautiful golf course view. We will definitely like to come back some other time.
Anniversary
Made a reservation. Restaurant sent notice to confirm reservation. I showed up and they were closed. Just awful. Never go here
Very disappointed as the restaurant was closed and we were not notified. Went all the way from Oakland to San Ramon and was told that the Open Table system can’t be seen by the waiter n they don’t know our reservation, only the manager can see the reservation but the manager did not tell the waiter! Why set up the online reservation while it does not talk within the restaurant and management. Promised to alert the manager to call the next day but of course no one called me the next day.
We arrived for our reservation and the restaurant was closed to the public for a private event. It would have been nice to know this before driving 25 minutes to get there.
