First off, in the few times I've been at this location, the staff have always been warm and welcoming. Second, their drinks are consistently tasty. I love their Philtered Soul sweet and creamy. Tried their new drink Sweet Harmony and surprisingly enjoyed it. The mint and cinnamon worked for me ?!Today, I made a mistake when I ordered my Philtered Soul. I forgot to ask for it iced. The barista kindly remade my drink. She was totally professional about it and made me feel like a valued customer. (I felt bad about it and she insisted it was no big deal).TLDR: I appreciate the staff and drinks :)
Always love an iced mint mojito! Don't come here if you're in a rush because the drinks can take awhile but service is good and everyone is friendly! The other day I was in my car putting the lid on my coffee and it slipped, going down my console and went everywhere :( I went back in to ask for napkins and they remade my drink at no charge! So thank you, thank you for making my afternoon... I was so sad when it spilled lol
Amazing coffee selection !Still remember going to their very first location on 24th and Folsom back in 2011 !The Turkish, Philtered Soul and Ecstatic Iced coffee are superb!
Please don't visit this particular Philz. It's closed to due to staff shortages. There's no alert on Google. No prior indications. Very poor management. Please do not visit this entity. It's not worth your time. Starbucks is far superior and far more professional. They have the funds to hire enough people.

Good service, good coffee. My first counter order and it was fairly quick and my order was right. This place gets busy during peak times so mobile is preferred for me.
I love love love Philz and their Mocha Mojito is to die for.Tip 1: Don't drink it with a straw or you'll get a mouth full of mint-YES! they muddle real mint.Tip 2: Use their App, it will tell you when your drink is ready and takes Google pay
I love the coffee here and the slow brew is great. My favorite is the Phil harmonic. However, I’m not sure if it’s because I didn’t tip well, but I felt like they were trying to get rid of me from sitting down for long and reading my book. They were banging excessively loud against the counter to clean the coffee grind and really cranked up the music beyond what was normal. This might have been okay for a few minutes, but it went on and on. I hope it was just my imagination.
I love the coffee -when they get it right. As another reviewer noted, the coffee is rather inconsistent at this location. The last Turkish I got here tasted like it didn't even have coffee in it. Huh? The staff has always been great - when they are actually open. Unfortunately, they are almost never open even close to the posted hours. Hey Philz SR: Update your hours to reflect your staffing! It sucks to travel here and find it consistently closed several hours earlier than what is posted. For that reason, I'd drive the extra miles to Walnut Creek where the hours and coffees are more consistent, and there is a great Italian deli next door.
I love their Ether coffee. I've tried other things they have, and now it's all I will buy there. I did want them to put it in my cup, which they wouldn't do. It seems a shame to waste a cup. I don't know if that's a pandemic thing or just their policy.
