My husband, friend, and I all had the French Dip sandwiches. Totally toothsome, and insanely delicious with the grated horseradish on the side. The French fries were crispy and perfect. Our server Jack was really the icing on the cake of a fantastic meal. Upbeat, attentive, and energetic, balanced with a sixth sense when approaching the table. We are so happy, and stuffed to the gills!
Sat at my table, alone, for almost a half an hour. It was not busy. The server never greeted me or even came by to take my order so I left. Not impressed
The Brass Door is consistently excellent! This reservation was for eight of us, and even tho, some of our party was 'held up' in traffic and quite late, our service never faltered! We were not 'hurried or pressured' and when we ALL were there, that same level of great service continued; and, ALL meals were excellent!!!!
Delicious, cooked perfectly, prices higher and bread no longer complimentary. Couple things we had to remind the waitress to bring out. Could hear the whole conversation of the table next to ours. Restaurant could use a facelift.
Wait person was amiable, but her timing between courses needs work.
When we arrived they gave us 2 menus, one for Father's Day Specials and one for brunch. After 5 minutes, the waitress came and took all the brunch menus away. She said that brunch was only served through 1:30. It was 1:25 and we asked if we could order a few things before 1:30 and she said sorry and walked away with the menus. Service was ok for the remainder of the meal. When we asked for a bag for our leftovers, it took 2 people to find a bag for us. Although I made reservations through OpenTable, I received an email (after the fact) that this reservation wasn't eligible to collect points. I mean why make the reservation through OpenTable if you're not going to get the points for it? Isn't that the point of using OpenTable??
This is one of our favorite restaurants! It's longevity in business is certainly earned by the delicious food, the great menu, and the friendly/amazing service!!!!
Really enjoy the cold crab sandwiches.... Hot turkey dinner too....felt like Thanksgiving... (funny bread is never included here--seems it would be..) Enjoyed our server... very nice fellow.... did a good job... will be back.....
Went to try it for the first time. Old building dating to the 1950s Service was good but nothing to write home about. The filets were ok, but the ones at Texas Roadhouse are better. Would not go back
