Incredible food, ambiance, and service. Disappointed we’ve lived in the area for 6 months and didn’t discover this gem sooner! Elevated, fresh, delicious food, terrific wine selection, and service oriented staff. We will DEFINITELY be back!!
This rating is not for their food but for their online reservation system, I reserved a table for my family and we are three people me, my husband and my son. When I reserved the table it did not have any intimation saying that the availability of the table for three is not there so the reservation window directly booked the table and when I arrived in the restaurant, I had to leave without having the food. The waitress said that I booked the table and it did not say that for how many people I want, it just booked it. Highly unorganized. So if someone is booking the table in ‘The Kitchen Table’ restaurant please confirm …
visiting from the midwest for a short period of time. this restaurant was so magnificent that we ate there twice. best wine list in all of California at unbelievable prices. whoever developed it should get an award. best food, staff and atmosphere around. wish I could give it more stars. The food was presented beautifully - true culinary art! The portions were plentiful and prices extremely reasonable. Michelin should definitely have an eye on this place!
Date night and we decided to go to San Raphael. This is the son of the owner of Alioto's, the iconic restaurant that closed in San Francisco, that opened this establishment. We had the absolute best server (he even recited poetry at the end of our meal-so awesome!) and the food-homemade pasta, big shrimp from Bangladesh, and beignets that came out hot and melted in your mouth. Will definitely go back. Wonderful dining experience! ? ❤️
Great service. Food was delicious. Swordfish was maybe the best I have ever tasted. My Friend Chicken was delicious but a little over cooked. The Buttermilk Panna Cotta was maybe the best I have ever had.
Ah, what an experience we had tonight. And not in a good way, but instead, in the most disastrous way possible! We went to TKT for an early dinner after a day of work. We were here twice before and loved the food, wine, and service: nothing extraordinary, but good quality, quiet and straightforward. My husband ordered fish, and I ordered the pasta that I ordered the other two times: pepper infused tagliatelle, mentioning no dairy (no butter, no cheese). The wine came, and we chuckled that the pour was rather stingy: 1/5th of a white wine glass - really?!!Sometime after our dishes arrived, only my pasta had butter and dairy, and I politely pointed this out to the waiter. He said: "Let me check," He came back confirming that there was dairy and they would re-do the dish.Soon after, he showed up with a re-done dish that had no butter or cheese but... it had a different type of mushrooms. The cheapest possible mushroom (champignon) was not on the menu and was not an oyster mushroom that I love and enjoy.I pointed it out to the waiter again, and he said: "Let me check," yet again. He came back saying that the menu has changed and that they now offer mixed mushrooms and that oyster mushrooms are somewhere there in the mix. I refused the dish. After some negotiations, they said they would make me a risotto, and I agreed. Thirty minutes later (!), when my husband had already finished his dish, there was still no my dish in sight! No one stopped by to offer a glass of wine, an apology - or anything!I walked out; my husband stayed to pay. They forced him to pay and take the risotto with him. I refused to take the risotto - my husband took it back and asked for a refund for the risotto, not the entire check, stating that it was an unacceptable service altogether. And that is where the real fun began - the floor manager said that this was blackmail, that he would refund the risotto, but that we should find another place to eat and good luck with our lives!!!Like there was anything that would make us go back! Get it together, TKT. Train your staff for food intolerances, intricacies of the menu (not that it is elaborate, anyway), and most importantly, how to treat customers with respect and make up for your shortcomings as you learn to survive in the shark tank.Honestly - I wish you don't. So, there.
We had a wonderful dinner at TKT. It’s fantastic! Cause of Covid, we chose outdoor seating. It was chilled but they had the heaters and you don’t feel cold. The food was very delicious, we had the salad and appetizer(fritta misto) and each of us had the homemade pasta and wine. I should highlight the service. They were super super nice and friendly, I mean, every single one. Such a nice journey. Definitely will come back again
For fresh made pasta.. it's tasteless and bland.. I guess as a veggie I should expect less.. but I pay more.. so what's up?
Wonderful little spot off the beaten path, great food and excellent service. We will return for more ?
Really great food, really great service!
