This place is a hidden gem! So glad I stopped by as I was craving sushi on a Sunday night and was looking on Yelp for a sushi restaurant. My favorites were definitely the blue fin toro and triple toro roll. The hamachi kama was also delicious. Everything we ordered was so yummy and fresh, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu. I liked how cozy and clean the restaurant felt walking in and you can tell a lot of locals come here for their sushi fix. If I'm ever in the area again, I'm definitely coming back to Sakura.

Food was very tasty but I didn’t at all enjoy the annoying pop music played on the radio as well as the overstimulation of the many televisions they had around the restaurant

This place was absolutely incredible! Came in close to closing, they were super understanding and helped get our orders in. We ordered a lot of their specialties. The Blue Fin and Ika Nigri were both amazing! Would definitely recommend trying them. The King Crab Miso will be talked about for many misos to come. Simply, you must go! They are super worth it!

Used to go here a lot as a kid! I had the Teriyaki and Katsu Chicken. Both were delicious!!! Fantastic teriyaki and very unique and crunchy Katsu :)Can't wait to go again when I'm in the area!!

food was great but one of the chef was touching is cell fhone when he was making a sushi Roll so nasty

Delicious food and their fish is fresh. Staffs were nice and the place was kept clean.

The poor service and mediocre sushi quality were disappointing when ordering takeout. Order took 90 minutes despite the restaurant telling me it would take 20 minutes. They asked me to return 30 minutes after first arriving, then when I returned, made me (and many others) continue waiting for longer than I'd ever choose to wait for takeout if told the truth up front. Then, when handing me my order, they argued that I was being unreasonable when I requested a bit more than the 1 tbsp. of the faux wasabi they first provided. I added an extra star because we're in a pandemic. Hopefully this place is just going through a rough time.

I have been a bay area resident for many years and this is probably the best place that I come back to constantly. The restaurant is family owned and the owner makes sure the sushi is always fresh. I usually order the triple toro roll, salmon toro nigiri, bluefin toro nigiri, lion king, and kamachi kama. They have a special menu where if you ask for toro (aka the belly of the fish), they will usually have it. I dont think it is on the menu because it is special but i would highly recommend ordering it!

This restaurant doesn't appreciate your business or customers. Its clear they do not have a fool-proof management or organizational structure to cover their business. I ordered dinner for my family at 5PM to be picked up and delivered no later than 8PM so that enough time was provided to the restaurant and hopefully no hiccups. The delivery service informed us three times of delays and as it approached the restaurants closing time (9PM) we called and were told they were busy but working on our order as we speak. Around 9:20PM a different employee called to tell us they ran out of food and would cancel our order and give us a credit. Now every restaurant in Marin county is basically closed and we had no food. We had to wait another 30mins for them to call back to deal with the refund issue since we did not want to accept a store credit. We asked why they didn't budget for the food we ordered considering they had over 3hrs advance notice and why they left the delivery driver outside waiting for 40mins before turning them away after delaying three times. In competence is one thing, this felt just cruel considering a simple phone call earlier on in the evening would have given us enough time to find an alternative and not left hanging on and on through the later evening. Will not give them my business again considering we talked to three different employee's (one claiming to be the main chef onduty) as the problems appear systemic. They had no interest in talking through the problems and made no sincere attempt to address fixing the organizational issues either. I don't abide lazy or inconsiderate behavior no matter how good their food might have been and I guess we'll never know.

The sushi isn’t very good and is overpriced. Salmon is flavorless and the texture is mushy. Drive up the freeway to Taki’s or Sushi Tri.
