Sandwich perfection. The bread is the foundation of any great sandwich so when you have a sourdough roll with the perfect balance of crusty, but not too crusty, you're already lightyears ahead. The meat and cheese were solid and the veggies, mayo, and mustard brought the freshness to counterbalance with the bread. There was only 1 person in line ahead of me and my sandwich came out within a minute of my paying for it. My only complaint is they don't have one of these in San Diego! ?
OMG.. i must say i have never had a fav sandwich shop i mean a sandwich is a sandwich for the most part BUT Michaels sandwiches r my favorite i will never b able to eat subway or jersey m again. The bread is amazing perfect crunch balance with a good meat and misc ingredient ratio. And tge pickle is a must. For a good fresh sandwich wen you want something non fried for lunch or dinner this is a must try. Always accurate, fast service and friendly staff.

Super YUM sandwiches! Get any sandwich on their signature SOURDOUGH bread (perfect texture and flavor). I always get their north beach turkey and salami w/ all the fixings!!If you’re craving a solid deli sammich, come here!!!
Staffs were nice and I like the sourdough bread they have. The place is clean and they have good service.
The French Dip Sangwish was basura, no horseradish & it had more swiss cheese than meat
Michael's Sourdough is a hidden gem in San Rafael. A whole assortment of sandwich selections! My personal favorite is the Tuna Sandwich, everything, with cheddar, middle slice ?
Theh have the best sandwiches in town.They bake the bread on the spot.....that is why.The service has always been pleasant!
This place is amazing. Watching how efficiently the team works together is inspiring. I had the Ruben and my friend had the turkey sandwich. Their bread is delicious. Sadly my friend accidentally dropped their sandwich on the floor and the owners were more than happy to replace it. Thank you so much Michael's sourdough for the passion for your craft and comfortable atmosphere.
