It’s a rare occasion for me to buy donuts but I wouldn’t buy them anywhere else! Best donuts ever!
The maple donut was out of this world. They are very well coming to guide dogs. Very accessible location.
After tip... $60 for a dozen donuts. Each one, beautiful as a wedding cake. Impress your friends. I'll stick with the cheap stuff for myself, but when I want to make someone else feel like a million dollars? I'll get them a Johnny Doughnut - every time.
The Bismarck is comparable to my greatest-ever doughnut from a rural boulangerie in France, though of course twice the size. I like the doughy bread texture, sugar on the outside and jam inside. Once I bought one without jam, froze half and ate it next day with some Mara des bois italian strawberry jam I had at home and that was heaven. I don't think these doughnuts are expensive. Freezing half works perfectly well. However, I'm capable of eating a whole one...The coffee is great, too.
Johnny Doughnuts by far is the best doughnut you will ever put in your mouth!! Organic fresh ingredients, even the glazes and fillings! Everytime I eat these they are better than I could ever imagine!!
I would go foreign way to get these donuts great shot amazing donuts yet that can’t be found anywhere else.
The donuts are really good. The filled donuts are amazing. Get the berry filled and like filled donuts. Don't forget about the cronut as well.

If you are in San Rafael Johnny doughnuts is a must!! They are devine. They had several vegan options. Also, the chocolate sweet potato donuts are so delicious, not overly sweet. Very hearty and satisfying and not super greasy donuts. ?????
Love their doughnuts had them actually provide them at our wedding instead of cake and they were a huge hit. My only regret is I didn't get more than 1 will be coming to get some more soon!
