Food was good, service wasn’t great and gave wrong items.Order placed online wasn’t even started when I arrived.Overall would try here again.
Last year while visiting the area we got dinner hereWhy was it $20.00 more than other el polo locoWe would go the chain in So Cal and never got robbedlike the San Rafael store.We won’t be back!! The chicken was also burnt and the employees said that’s the was it is, maybe theyshould go work at another store and see how theydo chicken.
Sure- update. I eat here most days due to convenience of location for my work.Every day after the ordering is complete- the cashier will say is that all? I say yes thank you that is all. And then I'm asked again if I would like to add chips or guac. (right after I have said no and that was all) it is asked again. Annoying. And then occasionally I'll get a do I want to upgrade my drink (again this is after I say no thanks to that)Then on occasion my salad will not have any silverware or my drink won't have a straw.If ever I ask for additional cheese the salad comes with no cheese. So pretty much as long as you order it how it comes with out asking to buy extra cheese the salad itself is pretty consistent.The number 1 thing is the ordering in drive thru- the cashier will straight be talking to someone else in the middle of trying to talk to them when it's my turn at the window (in an attempt to keep orders moving forward I get that much but when its my turn and I've waited it should be my turn)Once an order is done and the customer says nothin else- it would be a great idea to stop offering more things! It's SO SO ANNOYING. ask before the customer says nothing else. The cashier will literally say will that complete your order- then always I say yes. But then EVERY SINGLE TIME I get asked if I want to add more. When I agree that it is complete. Let it be completed!Thanks for asking. Add make the order additions more accurate.Same thing Double chicken avocado salad with a side of cotija and a vitamin water small. No I don't want chips and guac and especially after I've just said no thanks to anything else.No. No. No. no still means no!

Great location. The tortilla soup here is always amazing. I love that they offer several really affordable options for just $5 and the chicken is real chicken vs the processed stuff most fast food places use. The drive thru typically moves pretty fast here and the staff tends to be pretty sharp. It's almost always the same few persons working the drive thru, which is a good thing. It means they keep the same people vs the typically high turnover in fast food. It also means consistent good service happens here. It's my go to lunch spot when I work occasionally in the area.
I went a couple days ago during the evening and received the most bitter service. A young girl with bleach blonde on one side and natural brown on the other, helped my mother & I. She took a while to get the register working and had to ask her coworkers for help (understandable, I figured she was new). She seemed very stressed and eventually we got our order placed. Once our food was ready, my mother asked for a red tomato sauce & asked for the ones given to us to be taken back (to not waste the sauce) to which the girl that helped us previously gave her the most bitter attitude, not even acknowledging my mother’s presence. She sternly got the tomato sauce my mother asked for to which my mother commented on the service of the place. Apparently it is not uncommon to receive bad service here. The food is okay and if there was a zero star rating available I would have given this place a zero.
Great quality food enjoy a hot meal and chicken is always great tasting! With quick service great for lunch during work

NEWEST REVIEW - 09/29/21Well, here I am again. Never do I normally write a review for the same place the second time but this experience absolutely warranted it. To say I am angry, speechless, disgusted, and appalled is an absolute understatement.Today, I ordered the $5 chicken nachos. First of all, I got the incorrect change for what I paid. I let it slide. I opened my food to discover hair in there!!!!!!! (Picture attached) after discovering this gross hair in there I absolutely lost my appetite. Then, I realized I will need to make the long journey back to this location to ask for my money back. When I came back in to get my money, the shift lead was absolutely rude, and rolled his eyes when I mentioned for the 5th time that there is hair in my food. He angrily gave me the $5.46 refund, upon telling me that I need to throw away the food!!! Umm.. why am I the one that needs to do so??? The thing that made me the absolute angriest was.. he did not even APOLOGIZE FOR THERE BEING DISGUSTING HAIR IN MY FOOD. HOW CAN YOU NOT APOLOGIZE FOR THAT??!!!??!EVERYONE: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU EAT IT AS THEY CLEARLY DONT CARE IF THERE HAPPENS TO BE HAIR IN THERE!I have had at LEAST 4 bad experiences here and I have even reached out to corporate, who never ever ever even get back to me!!!!!! BEWARE when you eat here, they don't care about their customers!!! I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM!!!!OLD REVIEW:Though I absolutely love the BRC burrito and constantly crave it, I am choosing NOT to come to this location anymore.It seems they have a lot of new people at this location that just don't seem to care enough about what their customers are requesting.. for the BRC burrito.... It is pinto beans, rice, and cheese... It has NEVER been black beans. I ordered my brc's from here and got brc's with BLACK beans. Normally, I'm not one to complain but, I absolutely do not like black beans and was very upset to spend all my money for the evening on something I didn't even end up eating.They just don't pay attention, and seem to be goofing off rather than working constantly.Please pay more attention to your customers!!!!
